Well for what it is worth, it is an abomination of a bill
they are not wrong in questioning aspects. an honestly, Canadians won't truly hurt (that is unless your insane investment is dependant on july 1st, which wouldn't happen regardless of shut down) if this is batted down, are we really hurting now outside of our weakening wallets? I'm in the camp of, amend it now and then fix it in court, its been shown to work in our favour that way. (I... also may be bias on this fact, I was a contributor to the Pile complaints against the homegrow limitations, Don Davies actually quoted near word for word one of my statements in the committee) There is just too much misinformation and poorly justified claims (sample sizes of less than 50 being cited), for it to written right the first time through. |

I had a lot to say but I figured less would get more attention. I was wrong.
On the number of plants, what if I end up with 4 males? I have to wait another year to try again? They could have at least limited it to 4 females. I would hope the courts could change that.

that being said, Veg indoors, prep and flip clones so ward out males. I wouldn't be doing much outside in southern ontario.. farking hemp farmers.. (well technically industrial hemp breeders are to blame for the autoflowering monoecious seed hemp we get here.) Rudi's grow wild in ditches around here also, most of which always seam to be nannered. Sourcing 4 clones shouldn't be hard or expensive at all |

Fem shmem. All Canadian cities will join southern ontario as males and hermies take over backyards.
I've said this many times and people don't seem to realize that there's a great pollination coming from people who "try" to grow their own, and abandon them like they do their tomatoes. You won't get a single plant without seeds, indoor or out, in any canadian city. I'm 50 miles out with no close neighbours so I'm good (I hope). People who grow out here already know enough to cull. Still, I got the odd plant with a few seeds so I know someone did a local seed run.

the problem with that is the unknown. I've been passed some stuff to "fix" when i get the chance. Based on what i saw of the last run, hemp had invaded the genes. I know what the hemp genes can offer and want very little of easy to get hemp genes.
But believe me, i won't be getting seeds on my indoor stuff if i don't want em there. Its to easy to put a little thought into your set up, identify points of weakness (its the bloody dogs, its always the bloody dogs...) and eliminate that as a reasonable occurrence. Its not the newbie way to grab the regs.. the great pollination won't be as great as you might assume.. |

The senate needs to get this bill fixed or kill it. 5 nanograms of thc in your blood = dui needs to be removed outright. There is no basis for it in science it's just an arbitrary number. Unless all yuo legal medical users want to be criminals again.

Hmm not sure if it's in c45 or c46 but 5 nanograms is the limit they want. I quit smoking for 36 days for a preemployment drug test and still had 16 nanograms in my system. Tell me how I could possible be impaired 36 days after my last toke? It's lunacy. These bills need to be re written.

A bill has not been struck down at second reading in recent memory. If it fails today it will be because the liberals want it to fail. Then they can run on the issue again next election and can say "we've been trying to get it passes but the conservatives killed it not us" and win reelection. Millennials out number baby boomer now. Just need to get them To vote.
