20Guage (previously Double Barrel)

20GAUGE

Genotype: Mostly indica auto; sativa pheno
Grow Location: Indoors, 2-5 gallon container/sack
Lighting: 450w LED
Soil: Organic
Total grow/flowering time: 72-75 days
Appearance: Fat leaves, long cola, side branches good for LST
Odor: Berries and skunk
Average Height: 24-33"
Yield Per Plant: 3-4 oz
Taste: Pleasant on the palate
Buzz: Strong indica couch lock for indica. Strong body buzz with sativa
Ease of Growing: Easy
Overall Rating: 8.5
This 20GAUGE has some kick!! With Auto AK47 Low Ryder and Critical in the gene pool, it has a “killer buzz’! Great medicinal plant for pain. Grows large 45- 100+ cm depending on container size. Roughly 18-20% thc. Predominately one large cola with several side branching. Some phenos are more indica dominant (as in pic), while others portray sativa. Both are knock outs! Best results using 3-5 gallon container. 75 days.

I started my double barrel around 10/1. I got 9/10 germ rate, one was a runt all along but ended up male. They were started in 3 gal grow bags and 8/9 grew very large and healthy. I ended up with 7 males and two fems. I killed smaller 5 males right away and then one more after being outshined by its brother. Flowering seems a little slow for an auto, but if its size and the way the flowers are beginning is an indicator it will be a large yielder. The male had a ton of pods and pollen it put out so I already harvested a bunch and killed it. I will be making f2s. I'm also saving some in the freezer for later, just to big and vigorous to waste him lol. ]Mine had all showed sex by day 21 I'd harvested pollen.(a lot) around day 29, so not worried about flower time. It does look like they're already root bound in there 3G pots and 5g would have been a better choice for this large auto. The leaves look fairly similar on both girls but one is staying more compact, while the other is getting much bigger with longer internode spacing. The smaller is 21 inches and the larger is 25. The smaller one is 15x15 wide and the larger16x18. They are under a 1000 watt hps, day 35 from seed in dirt I believe. No real smell yet but I'm stuffy. They look like they will yield well. I just put them in another 3 g grow bag with 1-1.5 more gallons of soil. It took some work to get it in there but the root mass on the bottom screamed to be transplanted. Lol. Very large for day 35.
Had to harvest indica pheno tops around day 62 because very dense and touching in spots. Lost about a g to mold. Smells kind of fruity n sweet.
First harvest indica pheno gave me a gram shy of 2 ozs deseeded and tightly trimmed nugs, and a half oz seeds. Second harvest on day 71-72 gave me 2 1/2 ozs seeded trimmed nugs. Third harvest day 77 gave me 16 Gs lightly seeded. Totaling 2 oz seedless, half oz seeds, and 3 oz seeded. The high is couchlocky and pain relieving from this one.
The sativa one reeks of haze and wasn't quite ready but I needed to get it out of there and was worried about mold due to some light burn and neglect. Tops taken at day 77. Gave me 6 ozs lightly seeded untrimmed buds, I pulled 31/2+ ozs seedless from. I harvested bottom of plant day 95 they swelled up like tops! Pulled 41/2 more ozs lightly seeded untrimmed from this, which I quickly removed another oz seedless from. Most of rest will be deseeded as I roll joints and made to bho. The terpy hazey smell on this one is divine. The high us much more balanced and more heady then the other.

INDICA pheno 20 GAUGE (double barrel)

dickcorn sent me pics of 20Gauge and asked that I post them. GLADLY!!!

I'm uber impressed with his grow! I cut and pasted his description to coincide with the pics he sent....indica vs. sativa pheno.
