Franchising the Boo?
Just curious...as I have no dog in that hunt, but, how many think a Seed Boutique brick and mortar store would do well in Colorado? To be sure, there are people already in CO that produce a quality product, but, the Boo 'n Bay are already huge resources for quality and variety of seed.
An individual company, group, or groups of breeders at the Boo or even Seed Bay, hire their own grower in CO to grow their gear there and sell the product to, or through, the store proper. I wouldn't begin to know what legal hoops, hurdles, and difficulties they would have to get past, so, I wouldn't even try to speculate on that! Still, would be cool as hell to see a store or two in the Centennial State! lol...Replace all those Starbuck's stores with Starbud's stores!

Anyway you look at it you would need to use the postal service...
Otherwise it would only be the boo/bay by name... With locally grown seed... That said... I would love to open a Seedbay shop selling Seed-Fishing baits & souvenirs... lol |

Like I said, I have no dog in this hunt (and am no lawyer), but I do think that the breeders listed on the Bay, might want to take a closer look at some sort of consortium (if not individually) to expand their business as well as fame! Hence, a Seed Boutique/ Seed Bay brick and mortar store that would do wonders for their bottom line!

You lost me...everybody would have their one favorite breeder, but there's not one favorite breeder for everybody. Besides, the cuts would have to come from somewhere.

selling under their name doesn't imply franchise
a franchise is is turn key profit making selling for them in a legal market to establish a marketing model that can safety interface people who want seed with a seed vendor who can deliver is smart; and if systematized and profits actualized (in a turn key operation) it then could be offered as a franchise

they already have all the cuts that matter most in co and they get them from dispensaries.. and most of the genetics on sale on european seed sites can't stand up to the high and potency of the cuts..
so basically i dont think there is even a market for what you are thinking, let alone it make any sense. |

it's a cool idea, you'd have to call it Colorado seedbay, then allow any Co residents to become vendors for local shop sales. no other way to make it legal. seeds would need to be produced in CO and sold in a shop in CO. seedbay would just run it as a sister company with local people in CO. the vendors would show their product on ic mag. considering people from all over the US will end up going to CO for canna tourism any shop selling seeds with seedbays reputation would be a gold mine imo. but you couldn't do any mail order except to CO residence else you'd be in trouble potentially. so the only part icmag would play is the forums for Colorado would get their own vendor section, where people would show the genetics they got from the shop. would be a win win situation, as long as you get a trustworthy individual running it. but yeah whether this would be feasible or not at this time, is another question. would be fun to see something like that take shape though.
