Hi...
probably a dumb q,but will it take grapefruit longer to finish in a southern u.s. climate than it does in holland? Also, how well do they handle o.d. humidity? Any mold issues? thanx in advance, mike. |

ok guys, evidently my q. was so
dumb that no one wants to an- swer it.Female seeds, what's going on? I asked a straight- forward, intelligent q. and i get nada.Same thing goes for my other thread in this forum asking about the approximate finish time for wwxbb outside. Not trying to sound nasty, but this is like whenever someone asks about the potency of purple power orb easy sativa, the answer is vague,or not answered at all.Again,i'm don't mean to be assholish or anything,I just need this info.Cool? thanx, squid. |

no dude, it should finish at the same time... earlier even because holland being so far north the days get really long during the summer...
damn, sorry no one answered you sooner, it's not a hard question...

yo squid,
I don't know about mold being a problem outdoor, but I can tell you about my indoor experience. I had quite an insect problem, resulting in a large number of the leaves of my gf to have mold (mostly on the underside). Despite this, not one bud came out with mold/mildew at harvest. The buds are very resinous. I'm pretty sure this helps fight/prevent molds. Hope that helps some. I'm sure you'll get more responses, just gotta give it time.

Hey bro. I finished a 5 ft grapefruit plant in mid-end of September in the Southeast last year. Very dense buds with crystals galore. No doubt you will see why Female Seeds calls this one Grapefruit. It's a very nice high for sure and the smoke is very fruity in taste. In fact, I was so impressed with this strain I'm growing 7 more this year. I grew both the Big Bud X Northern Lights and Grapefruit and was very impressed. Both plants were in an area that didn't get optimum sunlight and still did very well. The yield definately suffered due to the lack of sunlight but the quality was superb. I only regret the bb x nl is no longer available. It was without a question a beautiful plant with big buds. The smoke was better than the Grapefruit IMHO. Good luck bro, try and take some pics.

Squid 420, sorry for answering later. Your question is a very good one. These kind of questions are best answered by peeps, who have experience with these kind of things.
We're based in Holland, so we can only gues. Tokinjoe helped you out very well. No worries Tokinjoe, the BBxNL will come back around the end of this year (we hope).

What changes, if any are you hoping to make with the BBxNL? I assume since you took it off the market it didn't quite make your standards, but I found it amazingly simple to grow and the smoke was divine, my friend. Also, is the BBxWW similar in growth and nute preference? Squid, not trying to hijack your thread here my brotha, just trying to get some info. I'm glad to hear you guys are still working with this one. Several of my friends were disappointed to hear I'm not growing the BBxNL this year. I've got 10 of your BBxWW going outdoors in a month. I'll take some pics when I've got something worthy of posting.
