the sleeper has, like, awakened

Pic of most vigorous PHxT, left, with the GHxT that most resembles your
description, structurally...

The PHxT is 18"/45cm tall.

They were (all) in flower from mid- to late-January (16 days).
They've been in re-veg for 12 days.
Topping and LST are being used while in re-veg to get some more
side-branching and bushing up.

Closer-up of the GHxT above.
It's the most green, chunky and columnar; and
least stretchy and side-branchy of the 9 GHxTs.
A sweet smell with stem-rub.

Closer-ups of the PHxT above. She's the most vigorous of all the G- and
PHxTs combined- re-vegging with a re-vengence. The leaves around the
tops started to darken a bit after flowering started.

saludos

Thanks for the update LowFalutin,

It's a very good sign to see nice resin production in early flowering in this kind of extreme tropical sativas. Hopefully you find them interesting for your breeding plans.

Hola

Everyone's still in re-veg. Getting ready to harvest and store pollen.

This seems to be my most green haze-leaning GHxT lady.
She has the "greasiest" leaves...

And tends to want to vine out the most after leaving the main stem,
and just seems different from the rest...

(lots of topping, LST, and not-so-LST)

Her stem-rub smell is kind of musky sour, like a little bit of armpit
and some citrus.

The fruitier phenos (around 3 or 5 out of 9) have a more melony
fruit smell, not berry or citrus. It reminds me of a pheno or two
of C99bx1 (moscaN) I've had.

A couple of questions-

Do the more haze-leaning phenos have a cleaner, or in some other
way, better high? (more interested in clean than strong/yield)

Is the red in the stems from some of the purple genetics bleeding over,
or from the thai? (temps have been low 70sF "day", 65F night)

happy growing
Saludos!

bring on the warm jets...

Pollen collected last week; flowering has kicked off over this week.
I'll dial my daylight hours down "to eleven" (it's 1 darker, to give it that extra push)
by this Saturday, as well as swap in the 1000w hps.

Here's a couple of pics of the wire-iest GHxTs...

The girl on the right (both pics) has been shown before.
On the left is her (broader) leafier and more vigorous sister...

All the Jack o' Nesias intended for GHxT pollen ended up male.
The re-vegged Neville's Haze Mango is in flower- she'll receive some.
And this is my most Neville's Haze-leaning Johnny Blaze F2 (very lemony scent)...

Looking forward to seeing what happens with her and the GHxT pollen.
And both PHxT ladies will get some too, to create a Meao'dTimers Haze.
Lastly, the columnar Nepal Haze, with its lemony scent, could provide
some nice offspring with the GHxT batter.

More soon. Saludos!

PS I found my shower stall a great place to collect pollen...
an isolated space that's easy to spray down/clean after each plant.
Will use it to place pollen as well.

Hola LowFalutin,

I'm glad to know you already switched them to flower and that you saved pollen to pollinate other strains, haze thai crossed to mango haze and neville haze x blueberry should produce a very nice and hazy outcome.

starting to build bud...

Multiple topping has really kept these 9 GHxT's under stretch-control.

Pollination soon.

saludos

Four pics of the stretchiest and least developed bud-wise, GHxT...

Her small dark leaves and general structure remind me a bit of a VbxT I had.
Most of the other GHxTs are chunkier, shorter, and with broader leaves.

saludos

(edit: her clone)

Lovely tropicals LowFalutin

It's not easy to grow this type of sativa genetics indoors. I'm glad most of the plants are under control Good luck!

@ 8 weeks 11d/13n

(enjoying some Zammy as I type this...)
All need to be up-potted, as they're loosing too many leaves too soon
and the stems are yellowing. They're in 2 gal. smart pots now, and
will be moved up to 3's when they're ready over this week. Don't have
the room to put them into something bigger.

The only one not yellowing is the single one that I up-potted into a 3'er around
the 3rd week of flowering.

They're beginning to show seed where pollenated. I used a stored pollen mix of
50 parts white flower to 1 part pollen (!), with desicant added. And was stored
in the basement at around 50F.

In addition to hitting all the g/p x thais, nepal hazes and a indica-leaning
Neville's Haze Mango with this pollen, I also hit these 2 extreme sativa Johnny Blaze F2s...
in hopes of domesticating them a bit.

saludos!

Over the past week all girls that were in 2-gal. smart pots
were moved into 3-gal.'s (8 g.haze &. 2 p.haze).
The 1 girl who'd already been in a 3-gal. SP for several
weeks moved onto a 5-gal. SP a few hours ago.

Saludos
