you can kiss that plastic good bye, once the wind hits it, your side and roof purlins will rub a hole in it in no time then one big gust and it will rip right off. I would reinforce all your contact points with duct tape since you probly dont want to disassemble it all to move them to the inside...
As far as the smart pots go, the only real issue you will face is height restriction, I might consider getting a roll of gopher wire, laying it out along the whole length of the greenhouse floor, then dump you pots out on top creating one long trench style bed. It will save you about a foot of head room, plus more importantly increase your root zone surface area. You then could arrange any pattern or number of plants in the bed and have a more even, manageable canopy that will still allow airflow around the top and sides of the plants. |

Subz-ro
They are all already wrapped in duct tape did it before the plastic. we are looking for the most cost effective way to move forward if it be gopher wire the entire bottom. or buy a bunch of plastic pots or more smaller smart pots or whatever else could be a option. Ill look into the gopher wire tho. I wonder how spendy it is. |

Plant 3-4 cloves of garlic around each pot ..... the moles and gophers will get put off from the smell. Organics at its best! For every pest there is an organic inexpensive solution.....garlic is not a guarantee but it will work w most burrowers ... .there maybe a few that get hungry enough to venture back in there.
For the gophers that are persistent .... the solution .... a whistle and a .22-cal... .... pop pop no more problem.

Just a little update. it has been INCREDIBLE 30+ MPH for about 2+ days now. and the greenhouse is completely fine. I am impressed with its sturdiness. Also because we were truly concerned with the gophers-moles ( i really don't even know. burrowing critters.) We bought these plastic 30 gallon bags. That were a buck a piece to get by for the first run. So we shall see where it goes from here. The ladys are in and they are HAPPY!

Report on the greenhouse. It got too cold in there without a heater. but it held the 3 inches of snow along with the 80+ mph winds we had. Still standing perfectly fine.
