Nikon P7000 series are compact digital cameras with lots of the features of SLR cameras without the size, weight, price .
You still need a SLR with macro lens for those extreme crystal close ups though. I am going to try the portrait mode idea. I like ![]() SLR-single lens reflex |

Here is a couple of shots I took of one of my seedlings. Two of these are taken with CFL and one of them is taken with a flash. It may be pretty obvious but I think they both do well. Anyway this is one of my first posts. I'm happy to be here, and answer any photo questions ya'll may have. I have a lot more experience with photography than I do growing. I'm excited to combine both now!
