Kiddie Pool Grow Contest... Season 2013/14

ICmag's 1st ever Kiddie Pool Grow Contest... Season 2013-14 Thanks to ICmag,Seedbay,Med-Man and everyone behind the scenes that makes this contest and wonderful forum possible..  Entries: This contest will stay open to new entries the entire time. To enter contest you have to post pictures of your pool/pools. Rules... You can have as many pools going as you like... Multiple Pool grows are welcomed... (Only 1 pool grow can be entered for final judging) 1) You have to use a Kiddie Pool Example ( A pool that holds 15/ 30 gallons of water ) At least 36" wide and or 8'' tall... Fellow members will decide if a pool used does not qualify as a POOL. 2) The plants (Roots) must be grown in the Pool. Cant just place 6 pots in a empty pool and use it as a catch tray. Exemption _ Colosseum... The system must be in/using the pool... 3) All plants must be flowered in a Kiddie pool. 4) The grow must be cut buy the end date(4/1/14) With results shown on 4/1/14. (Either fresh cut pool or cured/weighed bud) So as there is something by which to be judged. The better the end and the better grow report,the better your chances of winning... ~~Contestants pool must be cut by the End Date (4/1/14). In-order to qualify for a spot on the judging Poll List.~~ Judging will be based on a mix of : Creativity Quality/quantity Effectiveness of design The grow thread/show - Judged by your fellow members.... A 30 day poll started 4 days after the end of the contest will determine the winner of each prize. ~~ You will have 4 days before the poll starts to gather Pictures and info for final judging... Contest End Date : 4/1/2014 Giving time for longer Veg and bigger grows. Prizes: Bragging rights as the 1st ever winner of the Worlds 1st ever Marijuana Kiddie Pool Grow Contest.. Cannafornia Seeds has offered the following prizes/seeds... 50 Seeds ~Border Haze x 50 for 1st place 20 Seeds~Border Haze x 10 & Golden ATF x 10 for 2nd place 10 Seeds~Border Haze x 10 for 3rd Place Med-Man brand seeds has offered the following prizes/seeds... 52 Seeds for 1st place 26 Seeds for 2nd place 13 Seeds for 3rd place The Kinds will be announced.... ~~~~ Seedbay Has been nice enough to offer: Credit @ seedbay~ $100.00 For 1st place $60.00. Please allow me to be the 1st to toss my hat in....
I will be running 2 pools in a 10'x4'x8' tent using a PPK system with floods ( Complete pool flooded every 90 minutes 24/7) using Jacks Hydro & Cal/N With Screened and washed calcined clay... The strain I will be using for the 1st run: Hoping to get 2 runs in before 4/1/14... Green Path Seeds. Others. Pool One will be a Doughnut using stacked Vert 600s Pool two is still open... Leaning toward a 300W Led Scrog. .

Funny. I haven't been on in a WHILE. I am running one right now. I will use my next run I. It as my entry so I can document it from the get go. It will be a sog under a single 1k. I AM IN. It will be a month or so till I can start but I'm Running a 10-11 week turnaround.

More sparks....
On the cheap yet effective and easy...
Having built/designed a few Koi ponds in my day and thinking no tile live soil... I thought of this set up and cant believe I found a picture of it..lol My build would be a living Koi pond with circulating water flow using plants and stone as self filters and the pond water as feed/tea for the Kiddie pool island.... Dare to dream... This is close to what im thinking of doing to one pool. Rather than the bottom. Im thinking of cutting the side and placing Smart pot fabric over the holes. This would made a great set up for soil using Air pot siding as the bottom. Smart pot fabric would work but you would need to make the holes smaller to keep the pool ridged... My side holes would be 6" wide with 6" between... My thinking is to place the plant at one of these sites and air prune the roots to encourage continually new root growth... This is a great mini green house KP... How awesome is that..... |
