Quick update (after a long veg) -

Finished sexing my JBf2s and F13xJB crosses a few days ago.

Ended up with only 5 lady JBf2s, and I've got 2 studs for pollen collecting.
Emphasis on selection here is the longest-flowering, sativa-iest results of the cross.


Got only 1 (purple pheno F13) x JB lady, with a very purple stem and purpling in the upper leaves after flowering started.
Stem-rub smell is spice.
The purpF13xJB male I'm using is also very purple- hopefully this female/male combo will allow me to start the purple (thai) line I described in an earlier post. (Edit: this male appears sterile)
This male will also pollenate a couple of PurpleHazexThai F3s (ACE).

And only got one (green pheno F13) x JB red-stemmed lady (stem-rub = cedar/lemon), and the male looks like it leans in the green pheno Oax direction.
(It just started dropping baby batter yesterday, the first of all my currents strains' manplants to do so.)
And hopefully this combo will allow me to pursue a green/red (Oax) line.
I've got a very haze-leaning GreenHazexThai F3 female that will be getting some of his batter as well.


All females from all strains are being up-potted as they dry out, and put back into veg.
They spent their lives up to this point in sub-1gal. 6 inch pots, and need
to get bigger root balls before final flower; and after the current pollen collection is finished- with the males leaned over flat glass cookware.

wonderful work you have going on falutin. I'm following along. I've got some blueberryblast (Johnny blaze X Bluedream) seeds from snow and i've got two really nice males. One is definitely more blueberry leaning, but the other is a huge strong smelling beautiful male that i definitely think is leaning towards the JB side of things.

Please keep us updated on your progress. Things look to be going very well for you. blessings

She and her siblings are recovering from some strategic neglect-
while other similar projects were being finished, and others started,
some current projects received less light, fresh air, and proper up-
pottings, etc. for a time.

After they re-acclimate to their new, more hospitable, environment
I'll begin topping as needed, and maybe do some bonsai training.
It's what I have to do in order to be able to work with some numbers
for a decent selection... in a small space.

The five JBF2s are still in re-veg, along with everything else.
They've been the least happy with my brown thumb than anything
I'm growing/grown down in my sig.

The good news is hitting the F13 with the JB seemed to have resulted
in a re-invigorated F13. Didn't have any problems with auto-flowering
from pot-restriction, and of the two males I got only one was sterile.
(the purpPhenoF13 x JB male)
edit: The remaining male of this hack is a greenPhenoF13 x JB, and has a
squatter, slightly wider-leaved solid green appearance. So this will be
the male to keep this cross going into F2 with both ladies below. endedit
No direct visual sense of JB's influence, so far.

...seems to be BB indy-leaning.
Vaping some sugar leaves brought a sweet grape flavor...



The greenPhenoF13 x JB is pole-ier, and has more of a smoked meat
spice, rose, and cedar aroma mix...

I'll get some pics of the JBF2s up soon. Collecting and storing pollen
over the next few days. Probably put all the girls back into flower in
2-4 weeks.

hi falutin heres the jonny blaze x azure haze female in flower an veg currently my fav smoke I tried to take a snap of her next to jhony blaze female in veg so you can see structtres but something going on with camera il see if I can snap em together soon,this female was from a jb male to an azure female .

hi hf im not great on desctpitions plus I aint got any around me for a few weeks but shes real nice to my taste I wuuld call her a complete high strong smooth up an positive and very longlasting flavours to are spot on incence leather floral woody creamy not blueberry flavour tho ,the jonny blaze female I kept was very much like a haze 5 in growth pattern loads of vigour explodes in flower good yield etc I found the high a little dull in some ways an dropped off in a way I didn't like ,the azure haze female I used was real hashy like a hashplant super resinoius wernt really what I was looking for either in effect but the female in pic sems to have the best of both worlds but does not yield as much as the jb ,I don't know how you can see the plant is vigourous an strong from a pic but your spot on the jb was a little sensitive were this can take anything it seems this was my fav female on looks alone in veg but I went after her sisters at first as they seemed more structerly budwise what I was after it was only after running them a couple of times this one stood out so much I droped her sisters and im thinking of letting my jb female go , she kinda showed me the potential an what all the fuss about and of course got me watching your thread ,how is the f13 ive heard its a flo type is it bred similar to the jb ?

re: the F13 and JB- (from what I understand) both share the same Blueberry Sativa (B130) father.
F13 has a special Flo mum, and JB's is a light green lemony Neville's Haze.


I'll be selecting the JBF2's mum (from 5) with the cleanest, kindest, and most euphoric qualities.
Quality of high will be more important than strength, yield, or time to finish.

I've finished collecting JBF2 pollen from 2 dads, and 1 greenPhenoF13 x JB.
(I'll be done with all pollen-collecting today, after I deal with my 3 greenHaze x thai dads -Ace seeds- )

After picking a favorite mum, I'll grow out her seeds- sired from each dad- to see which gives best results.

Final flowering will kick off soon.
