I havent tried it... But the reviews for dutch passion - CBD SkunkHaze seems interesting..!
One day Ill get som of em and see what they can do.. I prefere a light buzz, and i like the mellow properties occasionally. Aridbud; do you think you could gather the strainsnames and make a list in the first post to help ppl see if this thread even have mentioned what they are looking for.. This thread have alot of potential to explode with shitloads of useful information.

The nation’s first hemp harvest since the 1950's was harvested, grown in SE CO, yet using it for other ventures....oil, fiber, rope like my dad had decades ago. I think finding good genetics from the get go is essential, then experiment tweaking hybrids for our purposes...mine pretty much concentrated efforts w/ pain, nausea. Together, oldchuck and countless others in this quest... we can learn and grow. WIN/WIN, right? |

Yes, gathering suggestions as they come in and will post after getting a nice strain list (hopefully a dozen or more).

Ye, I did see your post, and its a great one.
My thought was that within time this thread might fill upp with ALOT of strains, discussions, reviews. And when that happens its way easier to navigate if you have a list of the strains we know of in the first post of the thread. With the ratios preciously stated; is that a ratio or percent? The CBD skunkhaze is stated to be 5%THC/5%CBD and that would give a ration at 1:1.. Its somewhat useless with ratios, since you wont know the strenght of it... 1:20 could be 1% THC, 20% CBD or 0,2 THC, 4% CBD.. You get my point of where Im getting confused? :p Ofc you could just smoke more, but I recon strength is something to be taken into concideration.. ![]() Stay safe!

Femora, you're right, it's a bit confusing...
Maybe a simple clarification for this thread so far ( if I got it right?) could be: - If the numbers are low like 1:2, 2:1, 1:1 , it's about the ratio of THC to CBD. Hard to find this where I live, all strains boast crazy THC levels in comparison CBD and other cannabinoids( no chance to have samples tested anyways :-(...) maximum THC has been the main breeding goal for the last 30 years! - If the numbers say something like 10:1, or 5:5 (like the CBD skunk haze that was mentioned) it's got to be the percentage of THC to CBD. Which is which is usually indicated by the context I guess. Just my 5cts, but it's true, maybe we need to be more specific with what our numbers actually want to say... I wish I had all the opprtunities here, that are popping up in the cannabisly more advanced countries... select 1:1 strain of your choice and get a clone f. ex. far out! A 10:10 strain should be really sweet...medical but with a light buzz... I wonder what ratios and precentages the really old stuff like thai stick had ( or has if you're in the lucky position to get your hands on it). I guess they weren't as high in THC as today's stuff?... sounds like a nice all day smoke... Ah getting carried away here, anyways, hoped that helped a bit to deal with the numbers. Jah bless take care everyone |

@SHC...nice specimens!! I presume all female? Still doing thorough perusing before ordering seed, wanting to hybridize.
Seems most all CBD are photos, although have seen a few autos purporting high CBD. I have time to tame a photoperiod into auto displaying the CBD once I decide on the best properties for pain....then continue with MS symptoms, nausea for a few friends, myself as their caregiver grower. It just takes 5-6 grows to make it auto stable from photo x auto. Maybe some do it in 3-4 grows. @headband...yep, I've done the capsule thing too with a lot of variation. Guess that's what makes us quasi-apothecary specialists! There's truth in using the WHOLE plant...stalks, leaves, bud, trichomes. Know an internal medicine Dr uses leaf/alcohol mixture as a poultice wrap in cheese cloth for those stricken with severe osteoarthritis of the hands, much like myself. Seriously considering weaning off narcotic Rx I've been on for 3 yrs for severe pain and go completely cann medicinal route. What a conundrum in Colorado...it's LEGAL to buy, possess, use, grow..... but if you are going to pain specialist for pain management or rheumatologist, you have to sign a 'narco contract' which blatantly states NO marijuana use. There are other factors, too...no Dr. shopping, getting Rx at one place NO alcohol use (I drink a good strong cocktail, a beer or glass of wine maybe 2x a month). I've used a cannabis infused salve I made for several years which really helps hand/wrist ankle joints blending in arnica and frankincense oil, an natural anti-inflammatory. Have an 81 y.o. friend that swears by it for hand arthritis. However, I CANNOT use it for pain management under Western Medicine (ie: MD's) and narcotic contract. And back has nasty disk narrowing/arthritis from previous career lifting patients and decades of backpacking, sleeping on the ground when camping, etc. Got popped with surprise urine screen. One more incident, I'm discharged as a patient. Leaning heavily towards cann meds growing my own, as I've done for years....but experiment more into tinctures (I can make/use), concentrates, more medibles. Soooo.....another reason to dig into the lower THC, higher CBD/CBN, etc. Yet, I still like the high/ buzz and a few strains I've made do decrease pain while increasing motivation doing physical tasks.

I suffer from severe back pain and nerve damage. Take my word for it if you need a strain packing a punch from seed then go with Harle-Tsu. Won the Emerald Cup @20% CBD. I appreciate the compliment. Clones the three ladys and don't know seed sex yet? Just messin with CBD crew and TGA CBD. In the future I will use the three I pictured. Concentrate tastes yummy and gives u a euphoric body high.
