There are black colombian from Gage Green on Seed Boutique and colombian black and gold on Hemp Depot.
Was told by Gage Green the black colombian yields better. If it's real colombian landrace expect 16+ weeks. |

My Columbian Golds from the early 70's pop and turn to mush. I still have thousands left but can't get any to not turn to mush after popping. I'm trying to find some real Columbian Gold seed myself if anyone knows.

Man, it's sad but nowadays, you won't get anything more legit than the Punto Rojo or Mangobiche from CBG unless you have great contact with conoisseurs who keep the real deal and will be willing to share their treasures with you. I'm talking about pure equatorial sativas with 20+ weeks of flowering. Not for the faint of heart.
![]() This strains you've been told, are pure original lines brought years ago from the Colombian highlands by a true landrace lover and internationally reputed breeder and they were just cleaned to eliminate some unwanted traits as the very common male flowers and so on, but they are still wild cultivars with great potential for growing and breeding. They were brought from the Sierra del Cauca and other places, the info is in the forums and the pics from the strain hunting trips as well. I'm not sure if such jewels are still available for purchase though... as it's been a great oportunity when Kaiki offered those strains to the growers community so we can experiment the old vibes from the 70s Colombian weed. From the post: ![]() ![]() Most other pure "colombians" you will get will be just hybrids, even if they come from Colombia. It happens very often because almost no one there does still grow traditional heirloom strains. The vast majority are extint nowadays, be it in Mexico, Colombia, Jamaica or Thailand. Peace. |
