what kind of 150 w hps lamp can i use??

the mogul or the smaller??

you can baisically use any bulb that is a 150w hps bulb.

one of my extra 150w bulbs says for example:
PHILLIPS
150W
c150S50/m
150w-55v NOM.
USA C2-1

medium base HID socket is what you're after. Check the bulb you have online to confirm this, but most 150s are medium.

Yes that is mostly true. I have 2 medium base 150's that I use in one reflector and they do make both mogul and medium base in the 150's but most are medium. Just match up the numbers and get back to us. I rarely see the 150's in mogul but they still make them.
