Hey GP what era of seeds are those grape krush from? Are they from the batch where everyone had bad germ rates, or are they from before, or after?

Also, just wanted to clarify that you are making beans from this batch, but not sending these in for a while?

One more thing.. could you talk a bit about your experience growing out vanilluna and cocoa kush? How they are as plants, smells, and overall take on them?

I gotta say brother your whole take on this seed biz is way out of the norm. This not about profit attitude has me confused, like I'm tripping, or dreaming. I'm almost thinking this may just be a dream. It goes against all my logic and rationale to think I could acquire DJ's genetics for anything under $13 a seed. Is this really happening? I think I may not want to wake up.

Hey GP I think you might of misread my post. I was saying even if you decided to price the Dj seeds at 3 bucks each I would still pay that.. They are clearly gonna be some of the best seeds available for shit even close t0 80.00 bucks a pack that someone can buy.

I love your whole take you can tell you are very passionate and it's not about the money for you it's about the love for this plant and growing. There aren't many people out there like you GP most are inspired by the almighty dollar. I also like how you are trying to make it more affordable for everybody to try Dj's gear.

I also love to grow I find it relaxin just growing such a beautiful plant and how many different plants you can find in different seeds. I also really don't keep clones unless it is something special. I also prefer to grow from seed much quicker plants and it's just fun to watch the life cycle from BEGINING to the end not to mention the beautiful smells and how pretty most plants are.

It's just nice to see that there are good people out in the world still that isn't driven by the almighty dollar and who is also looking out for his fellow growers that might never be able to run Dj's packs because of not having the money to dish out on them. So much respect to you GP.

Peace mike

Oddly enough, this may be a springboard for dj's reputation to become untarnished. Many more people will have a chance to grow out his creations where up until now, because of prices and massive germination issues across the board, many people myself included, are weary of going there at the moment.

But because of this generous effort, I am likely to acquire multiple packs and find something that may be worthy to reaffirm his 'legendary' status in my and others eyes.

I found some real nice plants in his f13 10 years ago when I first started. Wasn't very satisfied with his blueberry or flo, but then again only could afford one pack of each at the time. Then purchased grape krush which didn't germ. After that I just stayed away, but the interest has always been there. Now finally there is an opportunity to go through a healthy selection of seeds and discover what lies within the lines.

At this price I am likely to get 3 packs of each offering. Plenty to go through and then work with.

Hey funky jungle I am with you on that. I actually grew a pack of Dj's over ten years ago and got lucky finding the blueberry sativa it was the best blueberry I have found to date. I tried another pack of his BB after I lost my cut do to circumstances out of my control and wound up with mutants and shit plants. I kinda expected this because blueberry is finiky and you can win or lose buying them.

I am gonna be testing the cocoa kush, vanillaluna for greenpath and hopefully some others. I am gonna be starting a thread this week if you wanna follow it. I also not matter what I am testing for greenpath am still gonna buy a few packs of each to stick in my fridge so I can take my time and look through them.

I am a big fan of Dj he is a good breeder and his work shines if you find the right pheno but even his bad phenos are good so how could you go wrong. He is also a pioneer that many breeders don't really follow his methods and work there lines like Dj has its like a lost art.

U also can see the love and dedication that greenpath has for what he does so that is why I am gonna stock up on his f2 offerings of Dj's work. Plus the price is outstanding.

Hi Funk,

gladly.

there new stock.. I was hit with the bad seed stock also before though..

yes beans are being made, I Don't keep dates or track of anything, I go by look / feel so I can't tell you when there done, but they were behind the others, as I didn't have space to run them.. They are looking excellent though, and there throwing off good vibes is all I can say.

I can say as much as comes to mind. They are very short squat plants in the veg, they eat pretty well for DJ plants. VL can tolerate a tad more nutes then Ck. the Ck is plagued ( DJ stock ) by mutants, making seed count a bigger priority to get usable females.. I think it comes from the mom. The Vl can sport some funkiness, but overall a lot lower then CK, as I think the mom on VL is more "stable" and has dominant traits, where I think the Ck mom has instability, or I won't call it that, but wider expression.

in flower, ck will tend to go a little stretchier, then Vl. usually in both you'll find half are a mix of say the mom and dad, and half tend to find there way leaning toward the BBS ( tall , less yield , colorful, leaf points up.. ) where the other ones are a little less prone to color change, shorter and heavier yielding.

smells, the VL has a more creamy sweet undertone, where the ck has a more musk sweet undertone. I have not found the chocolate smell dj talks of, but I do find his description of vl more spot on on smells. I have heard of people talking of chocolate, but lets remember he says reminiscent of chocolate thai... which might lean the brain toward bias.. I found that even dried, I had a more flo leaning smell on them ( indian bazzar / incense / floral / fruity undertone to them ) , but I find out of all DJ's descriptions, CK and VL are the best on spot, compared to all his other descriptions. Ck has a intense start where it mellows down then, while VL is more dreamy happy, sedated sort of feel..

honestly I don't like talking on smell as I feel every setup has a ability to alter that, as I've found in the past, running a flo, it ended up smelling like cherries where before it was heavy incense / floral notes.. also with organic, I find the smell can never be rivaled to salts.. cures play a big role here... I just am not the one to fully express as I feel I can't give a 100% answer.

there great plants. the best plants I think to date from Dj, also the BBS must be something special, and you get that in the CK / VL. they are not as picky as say BB, and there overall generally good plants. VL should yield a little more then CK. CK you should roots out a little more to get a decent yield. I find highest intensity lighting you can throw on them helps any DJ regardless of growing style / method.. let's admit yield is not Dj's game, he was after aromas and high, not yield, so I guess that suffered in the end. I've seen some huge yielding F-13's but I never count on yield when growing his plants.

haha, I'm glad you feel that way. I'm on track then. I wanted people to enjoy growing, not worrying about money or what they can get or not for there grow. I have learned many things from nature, and one is.. nature is abundance. so I try to copy that formula.. cheaper price, more seed.

I loved Dj plants, and found I couldn't talk with many people about it.. why? because people couldn't afford the pricing. I was like, this is what's stopping people from enjoying, what has been for me, some life changing experiences.. I was like, this is ridiculous why people don't grow these plants. people also didn't want to gamble on a $18 seed, if it was going to, pop / be a mutant / male they weren't going to use.. so I'm trying to offer what I love..

right now, I'm not here to dazzle people with new flavors, exotics highs.. I'm trying to do many things, and one is to fix the seed market, or at least do what is right by my ideas. not put people into debt over plants. when I go out to buy something I don't want to go into debt, so why would I turn that around and put it on someone else.. who wants to go out and see things they can't afford? everyone is jacking everyone, and I'm not going to play that game...

I find plants very healing, and lets admit as guys we can all use some peace and calmness in our lives. I intend to make that available to any person who wants to travel down that path..

thanks for stopping by Funk!

Thanks mike.

I hope so. I want people to enjoy these plants. I've done as best as I could with them for where I'm at. I hope that carries though.

exactly. I am telling you guys, this stuff is great, try it at a lesser price. don't be afraid of a $18 seed, go ahead and pop them.

agree. they have a very good energy, sometimes I stand back and try to look at is a foreign alien, I'm like, what is it with these plants that people are willing to grow them in there house and even when it's against the law.. but there is something attractive about them, even I cannot ever begin to explain. I do find the whole process important, which I like the thought of seeds, as there is so many running clone never experiencing the full cycle of the plant, which I enjoy same as you!

thank you. I am really here for all you guys. I get pleasure out of growing, but I decided to do this, for everyone who wants an alternative in the seed market. so here I am offering my time / service to you guys.

I have no clue about Dj's side. Yes I hope people only have positive things to say about him. I love his plants!!! I am not in a evolution or may never be to make my own strains, I am where I'm at, and this is my first step.

as I've said. I'm basically telling you guys. try these, I love them, I think you will too. I'm not going to put something out there I myself don't care for.

I am hoping for you guys to find some plants you like in a pack of 16. please make seed if you like some of the plant or do whatever you like with them.

I agree with you. I find every plant awesome. I am super picky, and a perfectionsit, but plants open me up to see everything is needed for balance, which is why I am going the route of no clones. that also means each seed set will be different, and unique, never fully getting the same thing twice. I find it hard as a culture we live in where everything is manufactured, there is no variation, but that's where happiness lies, in the variance. it's like some say, how would you know 'good' if you didn't have 'bad'.. no one likes the stepford wives, that movie was showing us how creepy "everything being right" really is... that's what I got from it anyways.

I have found some amazing plants in each seed set, but i would assume you guys will also. I have also found some others I didn't like as much, but that's what I find makes it so much fun.. I remember if anyone know, retardo motabon acquired a cut of Dj's flo mom. he let is go saying he loved searching through a pack of seeds and finding what he liked, not being served it.. well to that extent anyways..

it's hard in a world where clones are the norm, look at flowery field and how many clones they sell a week!!! but I'm just doing what I feel is right. The plant lived it's cycle, and I let it go on to whatever is next for a plant. it did a great job giving me seed to spread, what more could I ask for from it?

thank you both!

Then after a 24hr soak they will go into the paper towel or I might do the paper towel will start a thread as soon as I have some poked up I am excited for these I am glad the time has come. I also have a killer Dutch passion blueberry male that I am gonna hold onto when some blueberry seeds hit my hands. Wink wink he has the double serrated leaves and all love topping and being pinched I am excited I am gonna flower him and collect pollen from him plus I am gonna clone him for future seed making. please keep note, seeded plants don't seem to smoke the same.. for me anyways, and maybe the amount of seed i make a round affects that also.. I found the plants to be a little more clear cutting / not as hard hitting..

it's crazy making seeds though. please enjoy.

11/15/13

just took down the Ck / Vl / BB plants.. the BV will come down in two weeks along with the grinspoon mated to the BV male ( might be freebies )..

what I have next, as the last round ( SSH / C-99 / true blueberry ) didn't turn out.. I have some Azure haze and Whitaker blues coming up next. which right now I also have more CK / BB going.. along with the GK that is fattening up!

I'm planning to expand the operation to include one more set, so I'm trying to get around to all the DJ strains one at a time.. I know flo has been one of my favs. till Ck came out, so if I can get some, I'm sure you guys would like to try it out.. amazing strain. time will tell, as seeds have been getting caught left and right lately..

stay safe guys, the seeds are coming soon.. I hope everyone who wants these can wait a little longer.. I'm excited, and I hope you guys are also.

Ya I think I am just gonna breed my Dutch p blueberry back to the 2 Dutch p's blueberry females that I have. Looking at your blueberry you posted I don't think the Dutch p's are as worthy as Dj's blueberry that you posted pics of time will tell. I know Dj worked on Dutch p's or atleast made the selection for them? I will just breed Dj's/GP seeds back to themselves for my seedvault as I love a good cross to hang onto to preserve in my collection.

I'll keep you posted on the updates GP so far about 3 of the cocoa kush have cracked in less than 24hrs. I didn't soak them in water I just put them straight into a wet paper towel and put into a sandwich bag and onto a heat pad that's how I usually always do it and get pretty much 100% germ rates unless the seed is a total dud. Will be starting a thread shortly.

11/27/13

Finally. the seeds have landed. What first is the F-13, PR ( purple ryder auto ), and the LR2 ( lowryder 2 auto )

The prices are:

F-13 - $24, 18 seed ( this round.. next round will be 16 )
PR - $16, 16 seed
LR2 - $16, 16 seed

coming soon is the BB / Vl / CK / BV.. the seed is drying, and needs to be checked, then off to the bay.. The BV is going another week, as the pollen was behind..

NOTE: the BB is limited, as half the seed was cracked when pulled. leaving me with half the seed count already.. They were also very small in flower.. but I have some flipping into flower in about 2 1/2 weeks, so more is being made.. I'm going to look into if it's particular on the BB seed, or what happened, as they all got fed the same.

The Gk is turning purple, so I'm excited to see everyone's results. They smell very strong and grape / fruity smell already.

I hope to get in another auto for the people who like autos.. I love them as there fun..

Enjoy guys.

You should look at Secret Garden autos, Green Path. The Pink Salad is excellent.
Lots of purple and pink.
