Seeking recommendations for a cycle/period timer (e.g. Sentinel DRT-1)
Hi folks,
I'm looking to buy a new Recycling Periodic Timer which I want to use to switch on a waterpump for a duration of 60 seconds every 90 minutes. I was hoping to find a Sentinel DRT-1 somewhere in Oz but could only find US models (120v + US plugs) online from US suppliers. I have seen the "Elemental Controls" Recycling Periodic Timer on a few of the Oz hydro stores and wondered if anyone had any experience with this brand or could suggest a suitable alternative? Thanks

Why don't you just use one of the many timers available at Bunnings or elsewhere? That's all I used for flood and drain tables and aeroponics when I did it.

Hey HC - I haven't found any timers at Bunnings that would allow me to set an "ON" duration of 60 seconds.
Plenty of timers with 15 min intervals though but I need to be able to modify the on duration (ideally) in 5 second increments. Which is why I have found I need to move up to something like the Sentinel. |

years ago i used a standard digital timer (bunnings) that allowed for that sort of timing, but it was a PITA to programme....
