I'm sry sourpuss, but my wife always cumes 50% of the time twice & 1% of the time her girly friend does too but last time I pollen chucked there was 3 males and 20 plus females no names just crosses listed but mom was listed first

In almost all breeding save plants the male comes 1st. Don't know why but that's the case!

In my opinion, it's all about the stud.. usually what people around here do is pop some bagseed, find a clone and keep it. Most bagseed seems to be pollinated by stressed flowers on average, resulting in shitty offspring, or a subpar specimen that gets bred with eventually and passes on more poor traits instead of being half decent like the mom.
But when you select from pure males and breed something solid, the only anticipation is a positive one opposed to never knowing. I know it sounds dumb but it's what I've seen everyone here do instead.

Oops I didn't read the OP clearly, I thought the topic here was asking whether in breeding the male or female plant is more of a priority in the long run as a breeding tool; BRB penalty bong!!
