BREAKING: Did The Federal Government Just Legalize Marijuana?

BREAKING: Did The Federal Government Just Legalize Marijuana?

As states continue to nullify federal laws against marijuana and hemp, the federal government has been faced with an important question. It’s been more than 75 years, and marijuana and hemp still remain illegal. Never mind the total lack of reasoning behind the federal government’s ban. Is it time to end the law?
Less than 24 hours ago, it all came crashing down. According to the Associated Press, the justice department said that states can allow citizens to use the drug, license people to grow it and allow them to purchase it in stores. As long as the drug is kept away from the black market, children and federal property– It’s a go!
According to Mike Maharrey, national communications director for the Tenth Amendment Center:
The genie is out of the bottle and she won’t ever go back in. The feds have lost and they know it. No matter how Holder and the DEA couch their words in an attempt to maintain an illusion of control, state actions continue to effectively nullify these unconstitutional marijuana laws.
When asked if the federal government just essentially legalized marijuana Maharrey responded:
The announcement makes it clear the feds have no will to fight the states on weed. They can call it an “illegal drug” all they want, but if they can’t, or won’t, stop people from using marijuana, their “law” means nothing.
The recent surge in nullification has sent states fighting against the federal government on pot use. It would seem that the federal government just gave up. A major victory for the states- no doubt.

Too soon to say imo. The 8 exceptions:

The distribution of marijuana to minors.
Directing revenue from marijuana sales to gangs and cartels.
Diverting marijuana from states where it is legal to other states where there are no laws allowing for marijuana use.
Using legal sales as cover for trafficking operations.
Using violence and or firearms in marijuana cultivation and distribution.
Driving under the influence of marijuana.
Growing marijuana on public lands.
Possessing marijuana or using on federal property.

Just a few weeks ago the dispensary I donate to was raided with accusations of trafficking. No charges were filed and everyone was released that day. Seems they only have to put a trafficking or cartel label on the op and they can do as they please. The small time personal grower doesn't have anything to fear imo as long as you're following the law to the letter. The future of dispensaries and caregivers is still uncertain.

I think they finally took a first grade math class

instead of wasting billions you can make billions

I mean, come on, in 50 years folks will look back and laugh out loud at how stupid we were over a plant when METH was so rampant

think if we could take all the money we wasted and put 1/10 of it into charity and the other 9/10 into education

oh my, Umerica could be a real force again, instead of a bunch of sheep and some evil overlords

If this is true then there should be a full on legalization drive in EVERY State, in the coming legislative sessions. The Politicians wont have to worrie about the Feds, forcing them into 10th amendment legal battles.
Now the hard part is going to get the pro-legalization crowd agree on reasonable language.
Lots of Huge Cash Croppers are shitting ATM, and will put a lot of their Black market $$$ into keeping it illegal.
As far as im concerned, the Fewer pages to what ever Bills the better, because it is as simple as I have a RIGHT to grow as many plants on my property as I want to.
To keep it for use as I see fit. Recreational, Medical, Barter, all My business as long as it doesn't cross state lines. That should eliminate ICC BS, but in Angel Raichs case the Men in Black BLEW the shit out of My understanding of the Interstate Commerce Clause, but what do We know,,, right???

Things are headed in the right direction, but as always happens the Greedy fucking Politicians WILL Fuck it up in their bid to maintain CONTROL. It will just be Local, and State Shit Heads,,, instead of The feds.

Peace; 1TT

This changes NOTHING !! Just a BS statement to pacify the masses.
Since they have never actually stopped personal usage of marijuana
anywhere in the USA, the idea they will " not challenge" State laws for usage is a big yawn/pile of manure. People have smoked non-stop for decades with no respect to these illegal laws. They will "not challenge"
because they cannot succeed at challenging.
Business as usual for LEO who could give 2 shits about your rights.
Local LEO will pervert any laws how they see fit, they have unlimited free lawyers (D.A.'s).
Anybody making any cash should not jump a centimeter for joy, LEO will steal what they can. If you are making a profit, better keep it down as low as possible old school style.
High time we took our country back instead of arguing which party is a better !!! And I do mean High Time

It also could be time for a change because the feds are spending 6 billion dollars a day more than they are taking in, thats 180 billion a month in debt. It may be self preservation on their part, but as long as it benefits us the growers and tokers and protects us then really who cares about their reasons. If you know a snake is a snake then you can keep from getting bit. Take it from someone who has been locked up and lost everything, any hope is WAY better than no hope.
