Both strains are just as fast, but the individuals can make the difference

To FEMALE SEEDS:
Do you think that Grapefruit and/or C-99 (X-Line) could be grown outdoors successfully (moldfree!) at 50° N (Germany) ?
Which one should do better ? When would these varieties be ready for harvest at this latitude ? Which one is more resistant against mold (if there´s a difference, think they are rather similar, share much genes) ?
About my climate: It´s approx. 50°, but for the latitude it´s rather mild (there is much wine growing in my area), but of course I could get cool and rainy weather in september/october. So the problem is not cold/frost (seldom frost before beginning of november) but humidity !
Which one of these 2 has the better genetic stability ? (It would be interesting to try a little own hybridization experiment, with something hardy+early, perhaps early pearl or maybe Wernard Bruining´s new Double Fun).
You can take this also as a suggestion for your X-Line, an earlier-maturing, mold resistant hybrid of your famous Grapefruit or the classic C-99 that can be grown outdoors at temperate climates and at best also indoors (kind of all purpose strain, should be not autoflowering, because of motherplants). Maybe something with a little more stoniness than GF or C-99 alone.
If you think that it´s not recommendable to grow GF/C-99 outdoors at 50°, which of your 3 outdoor strains has the best resistance against mold ?

hey gms...that what i was thinkin too. i'll give 2 or 3 grape and c99 seeds a try outdoors....if it works i'll do it again, if not i know it better and the rest will be grown inside.

well can't say much about the mold resistance but what i can say from the last two seasons is that the mold starts from mid till late september, thats y i chose the maroc.
if i can harvest them mid september everything will be fine!
so i take fast strains so that the mold wont have a chance.

may be this helps u.
