@ new3- thanks for your gracious acknowledgement. We try to satisfy our customers and will go the extra mile to do so.

Some of the strains I've seen on major seed banks....I cannot believe $148.00 is better than those prices one or two thirds less. However, I was a wine connoisseur/aficionado at one time....velvet in the mouth on a $50 dollar wine vs. $15. Nowadays, $12-$20 wines suit my palate and can find a smooth red to savour and lip smack.

Same premise goes to our pricing and auto selections. It's more about enjoying with friends exposing them to different tastes at a price everyone can afford and still have desirable affects, taste and potency.

gotta say that double barrel is a nice smoke.
I'll chime in with a new report when things get going. I started a few of the Jack cross testers. Only a few mixed in the big photo grow, and they are ALL showing sex, and ALL females this round. Just showed, couldn't be happier!

Good deal, Born. Always great to enjoy the product once dried and cured. Thanks for chiming in!

When autos show early on, it takes a bit of patience for those plants lagging behind....enjoying their youth before puberty, I suppose. Looking back at my notes from Dick Corn's earlier observations- the 2 test grows of Dbl Barrel, males showed first at 26 days, the girls at ~ 28 days. Was steady growth until about 55 days, then really accelerated and bulked up. I'm spoiled seeing first signs at 17-21....Nature Happens on her own terms!

Finishing was 70/72 (indoor)-77/83 (outdoor) days.

@Born...hoping this grow brings you plenty of smiles, big photos and autos combined!

Hey yo.Herez pics from the 3 remaining. The tall one (AZ rocket) is the one I blew pollin on. Other fatty, the troll and other is mistery seed.Noticed they didn't grow as tall or fat, probly bcause of sun and temps planting late Sept. Like my F. Gump box o' chocolates!!! Used black plastic behind to absorb sun. Not the gr8est pic taker. You get the idea. Other 3 inside, lights not set up like I want.

Mine had all showed sex by day 21 as well, I'd harvested pollen.(a lot) around day 29, so not worried about flower time. It does look like they're already root bound in there 3G pots and 5g would have been a better choice for this large auto. The leaves look fairly similar on both girls but one is staying more compact, while the other is getting much bigger with longer internode spacing. The smaller is 21 inches and the larger is 25. The smaller one is 15x15 wide and the larger16x18. They are under a 1000 watt hps, day 35 from seed in dirt I believe. No real smell yet but I'm stuffy. They look like they will yield well.

Hey Dick Corn-
If you are careful and can remove the entire root ball/soil mass (I've done it a few times seeing plants root bound, using bread knife around the circumference of the container), You can probably transplant into 5 gallon container, with a 4-6" inches soil on the bottom, then lightly pack around the root ball on the sides of the 5 gallon.

Where I ran the risk of losing a plant was early on when root system was still tender.

I've also cut the bottom of a root impacted container (I've experienced that in 1.5 - 3 gallon containers)and set on top of a like sized or bigger container filling up the lower container about 2/3's full of soil mix.

Then I water with willow bark water or SuperThrive, even B-1 diluted for root structure to adapt to bigger surrounds.

Appears you are growing well!

Talking

Thanks for the tips. I just put them in another 3 g grow bag with 1-1.5 more gallons of soil. It took some work to get it in there but the root mass on the bottom screamed to be transplanted. Lol. Very large for day 35. I started to cut around it with a razor blade, till I realized I was slicing roots. Doh! I had already top dressed them worm castings and a couple Peruvian seabird pellets so hopefully that coupled with seaweed waterings will minimalize the shock. Thanks again for everything you've been great!

Oh yeah, I'm sure they will pull through. When doing the greenhouse biz 1997-2004, it was routine to cut off 2-3" of bottom roots of the bottom root bound plants and shave a little off the side to encourage more roots or enabling roots to absorb more nutrients, repacking soil on bottom and sides.

It's the main tap root you don't want to slice. OUCH! With all the amendments you have, DCorn, I'm sure they will thrive and LOVE you all the more for it!!! ;o)

Liked seeing your last plants, Pumpkinpie. The last several years when I started late August through Labor Day, I've grown in October finishing in early November, unless I had a wall-o-water (used 2 liter bottles around the containers) in a greenhouse, they grew slower.

Anyway, you have some nice specimens, and from what you mentioned, a nice stash to select in the "box of chocolates".

With every grow, there are obstacles. Take the time to set your shed room up like you want for efficiency and best grow environment. It'll save problems later. I'm sure others can echo that....

Your mentioning Rossington Collins, I had to pop in the Outlaws, Little Feat and Ozark Mountain Daredevils CDs to reminisce. Back then (mid-70's), tunes went with FAT doobies as the thc was maybe 5-7% compared to now!! May listen to Stevie Ray...you brought back fun times. Hope your uncle has more albums. Great for a swig of bourbon, a few beers and guitars wailing.
