Best strains for Carribean?

I have a friend who will be growing in the Carribean, what are the best strains (pref landraces) for this climate?
I'm thinking some African and Mexican would be nice.

Check out Cannabiogen and Ace seeds. Both specialize in landrace genetics. Most any sativa will preform well in that climate though.

^ LOL, I think the OP is specifically asking which *CBG* strains are best. (Check the sub forum this is in )

I do agree that almost any sativa will be a good choice for that environment.

One too many of these today I guess . I'm a big fan of CBG's destroyer, and hear good things about the mextiza (sp) and panama. Golden tiger is also on my list . Really depends on the type of effect the OP is seeking, as I said most sativas will do well in that climate. Nepalese jam seems very popular, though i'm not sure right off the top of my head it's a pure sativa.

Hola Rinse,

I have grown Golden Tiger and Panama from CBG, both of which are Top Shelf strains that would do well in the Carribean I veg them under a 13/11 cycle and then flipped them to 11/13 for flower with excellent results. HIGH resin, vigorous growth and outstanding effect, check out my threads on these.

Saludos

Yeah I figured ace/cbg would be the place to look, I agree most sativa's would do well but theres alot of sativas on the market, think Il go with something true breeding so he can make his own seeds open pollinated.

I like the sound of Mextiza, although I would prefer to get some of the Oaxaca 79.
Also Ace's Guatemala, then I think an African strain.

I know, but with all the genetic mixing in the area, it seems better to go with a landrace.

Golden Tiger worked great in south Florida (26N), and being in a place where you can finish sativa trees outdoors end of December is a huge bonus. But don't be too quick to bypass indicas due to latitude, you can veg em up big indoors and put em out to flower all winter long anytime from September through May.
