my opinion is that slh is a ssh spoilt with lemon skunk with a lemon smell for a bonus and a smaller easyer quicker plant. But ssh is a much much better smoke and the smell might not be of lemon but can be fantastic to in an other way. Lemon skunk sucks , why grow something that sucks. If you ever go to Amsterdam and try Voyagers SLH with is sposed to be one of the best sls cuts or green house coffeeshop slh with is an equally good sls , you will find it has fantastic aroma, fantastic taste , grate bag apeal and is very strong. But then try a good ssh (greenhouse has a grate one) and you ll see what i meen. It another level of quality. Lemon Skunk spoils the quality of high.

I've taken her to 73 days with a 600w. Mine get bushy and thin leaves and stretch isn't spectacular. I'm going to take these new girls out at 60 days as the trichs are getting amber.

I got feminized seeds from green house seed co a few years ago. Only have one pheno and I have no clue which it is! The smell and taste has a very distinct lemony appeal. Everyone says it tastes the best of all my stuff. She lab tests at 15%-17.5% THC depending on harvests.

I have about 8-10 s1's I'm going through. The SSH seems to dominate more so far. Out of 5 popped, 4 have shown SSH dominance. The skunk pheno was a sour milky lemon smell and took about 9.5 weeks, purples in cold. A decent amount of resin BUT that was the only keeper in my opinion so far, the resin was lacking on the others. And nowadays, that's a must, resin all over the sugar leaves. SSH doesn't really do that. The issue with the skunk dom s1 I found is that it yields relatively low compared to the SSH dom, some of those are pretty big but I didn't end up keeping any of the 4. The one skunk'ish dom keeper so far (might get knocked out) stretches a lot and grows like a sativa.

Well, for a strain to be named Super Lemon, I sure didn't end up with any thing close to lemon in smell or taste. Was curious to see what percentage of pheno's end up with a nice strong lemon smell and taste.

I grew out 4 female phenotypes of SLH:

1. Complete mutant, one lower branch had a nearly flat branch with an even weirder flower and 10+ weeks.. total garbage end product.

2. Short, not very stretchy, super frosty, but not much lemon smell, very light, almost like a sprite/slice kind of citrus, 9 weeks.

3. Identical to pheno 2, but with bigger nugs, same amount of frost, and same very faint lemon smell, about 9 weeks.

4. Stretches more than any other pheno, but not too crazy. Nice and frosty, fairly quick to finish..8-9 weeks.. again no lemon smell, but slightly sweet though.

Guess im going to have to take the best looking pheno, and try to cross it with another lemony strain, in order to create something super lemony!

yeah am... there's a pheno that just wreeks...... like u can't even hide the smell... one time I had it in a garage, in the trunk of my car in jars, in a bag and that shit was kicking still, I think my phresh filter couldn't even handle it... ran it aero, 1000w baddass ballast... I believe I pulled 14-18 oz of that one plant... man the smoke was like you were in a daze..everything felt like I was in a fog... I guess that's why they call it haze...and I remember being high for like 6 hours plus....some people said they would wake up still high the next morning... thought it was some shit I imported from the islands..... hehehehehe....
unfortunately never knew about cloning back then... my biggest mistake since growing...it came in an official 5 pack, where it was in circle package... I am yet to have another run at it... I did try but had to kill that shot 2 weeks into flower, couldn't control the smell, had a lot of visitors and got fed up of cooking curry all the time the mask the smell...hella paranoid.... just noiding

I have a five pack of these from 09 that I am really hoping sprout. I have only smoked one pheno of SLH and it was pretty impressive. Giant disco balls with huge heads. Lime green and super tasty. Maybe I will get a similar pheno in my pack.

You should crack them. The worst luck I have ever had trying to pop beans were old GHS beans. I still bought a pack of SLH and got 4 of 5 to germ and each was good in its own way with one I kept for a bit.
