Hummus & Grapefruit..?
Just a heads up to Horti...
...got my 10 tester beans in the post...popped all 10 (10/10)...got a couple of runts that'll cull soon. The other 8 look nice and healthy...just on their 2nd set of leaves. I'm not gonna post pics yet...that'd be just stupid and boring. When I transplant I'll start to post some pics. Properjob H

Photos
Here they are 3 days ago. 8 SPG BX and 3 other plants (far left).
They are now on their 6th/7th set of leaves and have been topped. I have 2 confirmed females. I have room for 4 females to flower out. The 2 that have declared themselves have a really nice branchy structure... ...all plants have good healthy vigour. Easy to grow so far. They are and will be in my organic soil mix. Water only unless they need a little extra N (which I'm supplementing with slightly right now as they're in 12oz pots) in which case I'm using Maxicrop Seaweed Plus organic fert 5-2-5. Cheers! |

OK - After convincing myself I had 8/8 females I actually have 2 males and 6 females! Nice ratio.
I can only flower 4 plants and one of the spots is taken by a C+ x Chem 91 S1...so...I had to choose 3 of the 6 spg ladies to keep. I threw out the fat/flat stemmed one as its growth was too freaky. 2 of the keepers are fairly similar...great branching and vigorous root production...good purpling and early to pre flower (6th node). The third is stretchier with less purple and more pliable branches and stem. Good branching but not the same level as the other two. All 3 have good stem rub smells...skunky with a hint of fruit. They've just been repotted in to their final homes (4 litre pots with my organic water only mix) where they will have 7 days to settle in before bondage and buddage. I would say 70% of my plants showed very similar growth patterns up until this point. Good work Horti...but perhaps a 4th generation BX (i.e. cubing) would be in order. Over and out...pictures with next update. H |
