 and  Alien Dawg for this opportunity to share with the community!  Caliente Kong first up. Sativa Loco was a surprise and no room. Titled accordingly because I will continue this thread after the Caliente with the Loco and I am sure there will be more after! 6 seeds - regular. Placed in water 8/15/13 - 22 hours later 4 sank while two continued to float till planting time. Now im 3.5x3.5" containers with coco/perilite/growstone mix. On a heat mat with a dome they should be nice a cozy. The 4 that sank had their tails showing. These plants will be fed Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow + Bloom with multiple Bloom additives. After germination they will be under a 100W T5 in the veg tent awaiting the 1200 watt flower room. I'll up pot them once in veg to a 6 inch square 2 Liter container. I think one seed that was floating the lightest one in the pictures won't make it - but I sure hope it proves me wrong!

Cali Kong
Only one seed completely sprouted. Good vibes for a girl
5 were placed too deep within the medium by yours truly but also had a very hard shell working against them. All dug up today with little white caterpillar type things on em - nematodes i think they are called - if you can see those with your bare eye. I was attached for a moment and felt bad but I was surprised by the Sativa Loco seeds as well and here is their chance to shine. Alien Dawg - are the Sativa loco seeds going to have a tough shell on them? Going to h2o2 the seedling starting containers before germing the Sativa Locos in them.

I suck
I don't think the only Cali Kong seedling will make it.
Been working doubles this week. Also hurt my arm so my garden has been suffering from a lack of focus due to time constraints and requirements to take care of the gardener lol The seedlings for sure are the most vulnerable and were the first to feel the pain. From now on I am not starting in Coco - root riots - much easier and I have a 92% germination rate opposed to now a terrible 70% in coco. Used to be 85%... will be again. So the cali kong seedling has a pinched hydrocotyle(stem) right were it meets the coco. It fell over yesterday while I was at work - came home to find it on its side and droopy. Propped it up, watered/sprayed it and today doesn't look like there will be any luck for the little one. Another day will provide the verdict. - Im going to try and bury more of the hydrocotyle tomorrow and see if it could possibly root out from above the damage - I'm patient. I feel like a scrub right now - but at least I got valuable learning experience. Now I'll never start seeds in coco too deep - maybe a quarter inch - maybe one centimeter. Sorry for the lack of pictures guys - I'm flustered from all the shtuff I gots to do these days. 6 Sativa Locos will be hitting water today. The Thread Continues!!!
