That's called edible hibiscus.
They sell the flowers in syrup. It's rampant here. Friend gave me a cutting. Poked it into some gravel and it took off. Ignored it completely. It seems to have dropped seeds. Now I have 6 of them and more on the way. Seems to thrive on abuse. Put her in a bigger pot. Cut the top and root it Then she'll branch like Cannabis does. Take cuttings, it roots very easily.
