GorillaGlue is on a distinguished road
Mexi-Colombian Strain

Any chance we can get a shorter flowering F1 of Mexico and Colombia?

Michoacan or Oaxacan x Colombian Highland.

Grassy, golden, citrus sweet, and bright. No barn hay impotent Mexican.

I suppose the Jarilla with long flowering times won't help here? I had some bagseed from Sinaloa brick that was a 9 week finisher, but that was 3 decades ago.

When better refined, understood and tested the closest Ill be to release something using this landraces. But not rush here, test are always going on but I can tell much for now.

Charlie, I know everyone who loves sativas would love to grow out these OaxacanXPunto Rojo.
Now that they have had a chance to cure for a few months, they are getting even better then my first reports. The high is similar on all the three I kept, very relaxing, but also energizing, always with a pleasant up high that's all in the head.
The three were different mostly by their harvest time and the power of the high. #2 was first to finish at @ 10 weeks, #6 was next at @ 13 weeks and #3 was the last at 15 weeks. The longer these flowered the more powerful and long lasting they are.
#2 the first OxPR to finish

#6 the second one.

#3 The longest flowering and the most powerful and longest lasting high to me.

These were grown from seeds for two months in 5" pots at 18/6 and then put in to flower in the 5" pots till stretching and then transplanted into 2 gallon pots to finish at 10/14.

How are you flowering yours Charlie? I cannot wait to see how your plants turn out.
I've got all three of mine under 1k lights @12/12 now, going to see how they produce. They veg super fast with extreme vigor, the challenge ahead for me is to control the stretch.

thx as usual Randy always a pleasure to see an experienced grower to put his eyes on this cross in these modern times and hear its positive comments

I germed several dozens and made all cuts which I need to work later, so for now just to know whats coming here its most Ive made yet after intitial cross. Cross was made 2-3 years ago and Nachillo grew them earlier too and talked me about the cross in particular among several other F1s I had made using same colombian male.

I notice very nice aromas so far, and nice trics presence and still more Oaxacan influence. But it seems hard to know yet where and how the colombian male plays the keys here so need to learn about better for next step. Oaxacan mom was harvested weeks ago this season while Punto Rojos are still flowering

About the smoke I want to believe I know I like it, reason I made it, reason I work so many relatively quick and motivating sativas often trying to get into the essence of a plain and simple feeling good sativa and nice flavours.

cuidate, take care

How would Destroyer (Colombian/Mexican/Thai) compare to the Oaxacan/Punta Rojo? I have a Destroyer/PCK and Highland Guerrero/Blueberry in week 12- 13. The Destoyer/PCK will go 1-2 weeks longer than the Highland Guerrero/Blueberry, 3 weeks longer than hazey pheno of Mango Hazey.

The seeds were planted in April, grown micro style indoors/ window / cold frame with Colorado sun, forced flowered in August, now in 300 watt 2700k flowering closet/cabinet. Time is near, full season from seed April - November. Clones are maturing faster.

Mid - 1970's Highland Mexicans, Acapulco and Oaxacan were favorites. I'd love to find a Oaxacan-ish female. Just picture gazing, the Oaxacan seems more prominent in the Oaxacan/Punta Rojo, than in Mextiza. Oaxacan is next in the search.

I painted pollen on a lower branch of Highland Guerrero/Blueberry to make F2, and painted pollen on a branch of the Destroyer/PCK, from a Highland Guerrero leaning male. I so much wanted that Guerrero dominate boy to be a girl. It may work out better this way.

I like 13 -14 week flowering sativas.

At some point I'll have to learn to post pictures

Different terms, different concepts so far. Destroyer is Meao Thai dominant, in terms of effect is cerebral and adds some energy, time distortion, smoother flavours, lavanda, bit lemon although spicy too or a bit of incence in few later phenos. I dont perceive same aromas colombian nor Oaxacan show, much more complex, more "itchy" ?¿ lintense, fruity too, dark, incence, berries and background colombian earthy/peppery/incence touch

hard to explain for me but hope it helped you

Thanks, yes that helps! - Oaxacan/Punta Rojo looks great.

much more complex, more "itchy" ?¿ intense,

Just to be clear, the Destroyer is more itchy and intense, than the Oaxacan/Punta Rojo, correct?

I remember 1974 Oaxacan was transcendental, clear, euphoric, with heighten sensory awareness, and calm for a sativa. That is calm / clear is what I'm looking for -not - itchy, intense, or too energetic/speedy.

I like lemon, spicy, sweet floral - and incense too.
