![]() Getting their stretch on, except for one... My NevsHazeMango wasn't doing much in her 1 gal. pot either, and she responded well with a 3 gal. up-potting. The little one above will get the same treatment in a day or two. And the taller two will get the same treatment after stretch ends. The little one's "aunt" (the VbT female I grew out) didn't like being in a 1 gal. either. Some strains/phenos don't like the combination of multiple toppings combined with a small pot during flo, it seems. ![]() cheers |

These (C99bx1 x VbT) girls are ready for more frequent updates.
This is T2- the bigger, chunkier, more C99-like of the three... She seems the quickest and frostiest so far... She smells kind of fruity-berry at this point. saludos

Gracias for the feedback. You wrote it while I was photo'ing the girls... T3, the mid-sized, lightest green, speariest budded... Her bud (left) compared to the larger, more C99-like, T2... saludos!

T2... come on down
hola
The largest, quickest, chunkiest, frostiest, and only one to develop some purple in her buds is coming down today (edit: @ around 10wks)... She's taken on a more smokey musk in the last week or two, as has her sisters. Reminds me of a Chocolope-leaning Chocolate Rain I had a while back, in that regard (edit: and I have some VbT-pollinated seeds from that ChocRain). The apple/peach/strawberry-sweet aroma she had is now just a background note. Initial report after she dries a bit. I'm giving her sisters a few more days before harvest. Saludos!

T3 almost there...
T3 was the lightest green of the three, and looks most like both
C99bx1 mum and VbT dad (both were light green/wispy)... Her buds are getting the knobby "studded with thousands of pleasure dots" look of swollen calyces, and will probably come down around Monday, at around eleven weeks- and that's with a flower and re-veg before start. Quite a bit longer than a regular C99, and a week longer than the mum. (edit: My one dark-green VbT lady took 13 weeks from seed, after a month or so of vegging.) T3 is also the only one of the three to give me a strong trippy high from a pre-harvest sample taken a couple weeks ago- right up there with the Zam that's been harvested, but in a different way... less in the diaphragm. I'm going to try to re-veg her until she proves unworthy, but so far she's looking to be a potential prototype for this "Hanoi Cindy/Barbarella/Barbie/B99" personal strain I'm trying to create with this specific cross. I've more seeds of the cross, as well as VbTs, to look for a dad; or may experiment with colloidal silver. Have a great weekend Saludos

It's been around 12 weeks since these C99bx1 x VbT girls were harvested.
All three are nice, with their highs getting a lttle cleaner as the cure's progressed. Getting stronger too. A more complete report in a few weeks...

That sounds interesting, are those phenos taller and longer flowering than usual OE expressions?

Greetings Rinse,
Yes, the more Vietnam Black influenced phenos are taller and take longer to flower than Orient Express average. |

last nug standing
from each of the three phenos I got...
...from my C99bx1 x VbT hack. I'll sample these first thing over the next few days to finally write up a smoke report. It's been about half-a-year since they were harvested. It's time. ![]() saludos!
