Hey there, Was looking thru my seed stash collected over the past 8-10 years. The unopened MOD Menage a trois pack caught my eye. Prob some where around 5 years old id say, thou not 100% certain. Been in the fridge for the most part its whole life. So my questions are for those who have germed any of MODS older packs, in particular the menage a trois , or any other older packs of mods genes for that matter. I know i will just go for it, but curious what others may have found. Its always hit or miss in my experience. But hoping to see if there is a positive germination seedling pattern with mod. B-safe....

I just killed Mods cinnamon haze last month.. t5 fell on her while still a seedling..
& i didnt even keep seeds fridgerated.... 1 out of 3 popped though..
Getting ready to try and pop more though...

Dreaded, ohhh man. so sorry!! i cant stand when shit like that happens. live an learn i guess.. Figure new spot, add some new genes, started 5 menage a trois !! lets see what happens. it will be a few months till im ready to flower them anyways if they survive !! b-safe

Should be a reasonable germ rate, if stored correctly in the fridge.

I keep mine in an airtight container with that silicon granule stuff to keep the packs of seeds dry but cool. Got some old ones in there too.

Good luck with yours, those MOD strains are fantastic.

So far just one small sprout out of 5 or 6. looks like i will have to sand the other beans an try again. gotta read up on weakening the shell.

He or she started off with some mutations but since has started to show normal leaf an node patterns. Very slow in veg compared to others, thou not under much light, 4ft t8 cfls at the moment.

gman, it's been a while but a few years back with menage a trois I had 2/10 germ rate with a squat indica bush and a lanky stretchy sativa. MoD might be gone but definitely is not forgotten. His dreamgoddess pheno got got by a rez sour diesel daddy to make menage a d and then those were grown out and hit again by the same daddy to make menage a d bx1 (d). Hope ya get em to pop and find the 'lil bush, she's all that and a bag of chips.

hey moe, glad u enjoyed the menage. If the last months of slow veg are any indication, i'd say this is def indica leaning so far. i have topped other seedlings twice since. I remember 5-7 + years ago the allure the menage had. i still have 6 more seeds i wanna sand down the shells an try again. I remember seeing somewhere a how to on starting old seeds thread. Any word on what has happend to mod?? b-safe

1 of 5 made it, Male! showing purple sacs. gonna collect the pollen an or keep it around till i can do something propper with it.

right now choices to make seed are , my sensi early pearl, G13, a purple genetics unknown, casey jones (trainwreck leaning), sour bubble, karmas biker kush, jaimiaican unknown seed.

Gotta try the other seeds soon!
