Sour Diesel V3 was some of the best weed I've ever grown.
The IBL though, was absolute rubbish IMO. Didn't even come close to the V3.

Isn't the V3 part of the the genetic makeup of the IBL? For me 2010 Sour IBL remains one of the best packs ever. Can't find the thread but just before he left I remember Rez sayin something to the effect of Sour IBL x Sour IBL = Sour IBL and if ya find the good males to make ya some beans. I found, I chucked, and I got the personal sour collection locked in:

As far as I can remember the V3 was the step before the IBL? (it's been a while)
I wasn't really around the boards when the IBL was released, but seen enough good reports, that I grabbed 3 packs in '11, and out of all 3 packs, nothing was even close to the V3s. Every lady in the V3s was a keeper, and all were very uniform (I ran 2 packs).
I have heard reports that the later releases of the IBLs were not as good/different to the earlier ones, so maybe that's it, but that's my experience. Not one keeper in 3 packs.
I did make some beans before I ditched 'em though, so maybe I'll find something decent in there, if I ever crack some.
I must say though, aside from the IBL, everything else I got from Rez was decent.
I found keepers in strawberry Deez, Basic Deez, and Petrol as well.

No direct V3 experience here, only had one pack of 2010 IBL. Seems like the most valuable gems from that pack were in the males, better females for me were in the next generations forward. If I didn't use the males I'd have likely felt disappointed too.

Think H3ed used the V3 in Casey Jones, the sour phenos that keep poppin up in cj f2s and f3s are the absolute skittles. FWIW my sour pheno casey males look just like the sour IBL males, the true ones have that pinecone headed cola he/she look that is unmistakably sour diesel, IMO.

Still missn Rez, peacin proppin floppies, always cravin more.

So rez is gone??? i havnt been around in a while. what happened can anyone clue me in. rez gifted me a pack of galadriel seeds almost 10yrs ago. i still run the same mom today. the best strain i have ever grown
