For the most part I kind of enjoyed some of his posts; he seemed to be on the edge at times, but that was OK with me; where ever he is at I hope that he is well.

I miss the packs of beans for £40, then sadly the prices went up and the quality, down. Several people who grew out a lot of the SD said that the SDv2.5 was better than the SD "IBL". His Diesel was good enough to get noticed on street level in the UK, at least 4 different Cheese x Diesel lines were made in the UK and carry on to this day. I brought a Strawberry Chiesel clone here to Spain 7 years ago that is still around. She went to a local clone guy who only ever keeps 6 strains and consistently wins in his "strain shootouts" against new stock.

i tried his chemdog ibl 2 years ago, it was the best weed ive ever smoked, but i was annoyed at how much variation there was, for the crazy high price...i ended up letting my moms go and as time goes by i find myself wishing i had a decent chemdog mom, though it seems the market has gone mostly toward og kush crosses...
nowadays it's like, where do you get decent chemdog seeds? even with all the variation, several pheno's of his ibl were better than anything ive grown since. i guess in this business it doesn't pay to make enemies as much as he seemed too... |
