Unfortunately, I think you're right.....the beginning at a trickle, then ever increasing numbers and applications until drones flood low level airspace in the coming years. Privacy issues may be the restriction needed to prevent the dam from breaking?

Why not do what the Iranians did ?
Set up a virtual GPS network of your own . Then tell the drone its at its own airport and cleared to land . lol .

The sooner US citizen realise the power of their vote the sooner things can change .
Too many folks don`t even cast a vote in elections .

sadly this is the absolute truth. if everyone voted, and did so in concert any change can be made.

I bought a AR Parrot 2.0 Quadcopter for Christmas.

It is amazingly sophisticated for less than $400

I also bought 3 Estes Nano Proto X Quadcopters about the size of a soda cracker.

Way cool

The Parrot is programmable , has GPS, 2 video cameras, auto hover and is piloted with my IPad

There a lot of Hobby Drones available this year.
