Old Blue
So what's the story on Old blue? Lineage? How does it compare to blue dream? Are they related?
Putting together a RD seed order, trying to decide between longs peak blue & night terror for a big yielding blue strain. Gracias amigos

I just finished my first run of one of my 2 longs females. The one I flowered out yielded a ton and has a VERY strong blueberry flavor. I was born in Oregon and have been smoking blueberry from around here since I was in high school in the mid 80's and this comes as close as anything I have had since to the old blueberry I remember. I have the other lady in flower now and she looks like she could yield even more. IMO I would go with the longs anyday over the blue dream cross.

Fuck yeah oledad, good feedback!
Ordered em, I have a good feeling about this one. Hoping to find a good male to pollinate the BD so I can retire her without feeling like she's gone forever. LPB seems like it'd be the perfect mate. |

Long's Peak Blue is a much better yielder and has much more blueberry to it. Muffins, think blueberry muffins. Also, the RD OLD BLUE did come from OR.

I was talking with DJ Short this past weekend and asked him about the possibility of Old Blue coming from his early stock and it turns out that it is very possible. I don't want say too much but DJ was cranking out cuts and releasing them from 1979 on. Those early ones were the Juicy Fruit Thai and early crosses. In the early 80's he released several versions to the Oregon community of Blueberry while it was still in it's R & D stage.
Peace, KF

The non-indaca pheno is the keeper of the bunch. Crazy trich production, fatter buds than the rest, smells like over ripe fruity medley funk with a skunk after tone.
