Aus success ordering from the Bay...
The thread title says it all really... What are Australian peoples experiences ordering from the Bay, especially in recent times? Are they getting through? Does the supposed beef up in customs for RC's mean beans are getting hammered as well? Few small orders and sneak them through vs. bigger ones of say 50-100 seeds and cross your fingers?
From all reports the Bay is straight up so worth me trying a new vendor... but you all know how it is just want a little insight in the current climate. regards, Socks |

was that recently Quantifiable?
I am interested in using seedbay at present though, for a while I have been lurking around the site, its been a great reference for me, so thought I may as well grab a few things from the Bay which I was specifically after and seeing as they fund raise from there to cover server costs it be a way to give back for being such a great resource. I suppose it looked like a bit of an odd first post, but I run an extremely tight and paranoid ship... though when I figure out a way to post pics and share a bit more without leaving too much of a digital footprint I will definitely up the ante. So, have Aussies been getting them through in the current climate of mail security, from anywhere, but especially the Bay and Boo? |

Thanks Rumblefish.... I dont know why I am so uptight this time round, my life has changed dramatically recently though, suppose I have a bit more to lose now, but I was never overly worried on many previous orders from numerous sources...
Thanks again mate. |

1st post so might aswell make it a semi useful one.
I've ordered many times from seedboutique and never had a problem. I have some of moscas c99 bx-1's on the way atm and am super confident I'll get 'em. I had a problem when i transferred to the wrong bank account and SB got charged extra bank fees (like $30) but after some back and forth, Ian from SB was amazing and sorted it out. Beans on the way. Great customer service and shipping. |

Just a heads up for everyone especially all the new members, please read the Terms Of Use for ICMag, discussion and posting of links of other seed banks not affiliated with ICMag (SeedBoutique and SeedBay are the only ones) is not allowed and the offending posts will be removed. These other seed banks do not pay the bills towards keeping ICMag up an running, so why should you come on here and feel the need to give them free advertising?
This won't be tolerated at all, please go to the other seed banks forums(if they have any) and discuss your experiences with them on their forums. In regards to the OP original question, the SeedBoutique and SeedBay have looked after me with every single order and yes it's a numbers game when it comes to receiving your order/s, basically the majority do get through and some don't, it's a gamble for sure, that's why you all should have a safe address that's not connected to yourself because you never know if the shit is going to hit the fan. Cheers b00m

a po box isnt safe as you have to show id. If you have a trusted friend or a nan etc that will receive mail with a funny name and put it aside for you that is the go. Someone who will not admit under any circumstance that they were aware of the package arriving.
If you must order to your own address, dont have a grow going and use a fake name. seed bou and bay deliver in my experience. |
