It won't cut grass over 15 MPH though

The so-called Mean Mower started out as a production Honda HF2620 Lawn Tractor before the team replaced its stock 20 hp motor with the 109 hp 1,000 cc V-twin from a Honda VTR1000 Firestorm sport bike along with its six-speed transmission and reengineered the suspension to handle a set of ATV wheels and tires.

A Scorpion exhaust system pumps up the volume to an ear-shattering 130 decibels, compared to about 106 db for a typical mower, while a Cobra racing seat was fitted to keep up with the bump in performance, now good enough to accelerate the grass assassin to 60 mph in four seconds.

Hey has anyone ever checked out Nelson Racing Engines? Pretty insane stuff! Stumbled across them about a month ago.

Thats amazing. I would bet the driver would experience a few gs. Picture turning it at 130 and the stretch you would have to travel just to not roll it over.

I know 2 topics in one thread yet did anyone check out Nelson Racing Engines? He built an 1800 HP twin turbo V8 for a Mosler and got 19 MPG driving from Las Vegas to LA. Some of the most insane engine work I've ever seen.

@ 130 Mph this mower is probably low 11s, high 10's in 1/4 mile. Imagine how bumpy it is tho lol. Mosler is a beaut of a car tho.

Shelby motors . Man knows where the power is . Ill take small block ford or big block Chevy when racing.

Mosler runs 13s in 1/4mile that was fast back then. Any links to 1800hp V8 TT?

Tom Nelson makes the sickest motors available. It's all about the octane on demand system and twin injectors per cylinder. I have a small airport a few miles away so access to avgas and would love to have a hipo motor like Tom can build. Best I can figure it will cost 25k just for the motor lol.
