Camping near Oakland
Hey IC, I am going to Oakland tomorrow for a quick turn around trip.
I was hoping to find a place to camp for the night. It does not need to be around Oakland specifically. We have to be back friday Friday afternoon. I don't need to fish, just a sweet spot to relax for the night and head back home to socal, OC area. Thanks I advance for your contributions. Be safe, Subsidy |

There are a few spots up in the hills that you can pretty much drive up to and camp at. A few have those outdoor grills at them.

Check out Mount Diablo State Park. Its one of the higher coastal mountains in that area. Can get a bit hotter than Oakland itself as the fog doesnt reach that far.
