World of Seeds Landraces
Is World of Seeds phasing out their regular seed stock of Landraces? I recently ordered the 10 pack of Wild Thai regular and when it arrived it was marked on the packet with two decals, one Regular and one Feminized. The description on the packet says Feminized as well. I ordered Regular to find a Landrace Male Wild Thai but it appears I got nothing but more women problems. I went back to their website and it has Regular all over the advertising for Wild Thai except in one little spot where I found Feminized. Then I read a blog that said all their Landrace Regular seeds are being phased out. Is this true?

Watch out WOS... they are dodgy, in Spain we call them World of Shit lol! I think there are better sources for pure strains, this guys are clearly for the cash in the scene and don't have lots of ethics... better try That Sticks or Lao from GN Collection or any other SE Asian.

Nice looking stuff at the GN connection. I'd love to try any of the Columbian too.
All three of the three Wild Thai seeds I planted broke the soil surface in 4 days. Small seeds and the sprouts as well. I put a photo in an album. I guess I should go ahead and do a grow report. |

I put a photo of the World of Seeds packet in a new album of mine named, Wild Thai. It shows both a stickers stating, Regular Seeds and a female gender sign. I went ahead and planted the other 7 seeds so now all ten are in soil. If I get a male, I guess the mystery is solved.

WOS has a habit of taking a strain, outcrossing it with another strain, then backcrossing to the original and still calling it a "landrace". They call it "stabilizing", I call it lying.
Beware, and read the description carefully if you decide to go with WOS. I personally would just pass them on by, but it's your choice. '

Thanks for the advice, but I've already bought the seeds.
So are you saying world of seeds stock isn't even from the region or those guys just pluck some plants, pollen chuck a couple of generations and sell the seeds? |
