Hello everyone, I write from Italy,I would like to grow outdoor 0riginal Afghani#1 from Seedsman,it's a real landrace?or IBL?anyone has experience with this strain?thanks!

I think its more of an IBL at this point, don't think its been in Afghanistan for a long time.
I heard its related to Sensi's Afghan 1, so expect some sativa traits.

i think sensiseeds and seedsman afghani#1 comes from the same source Sam the Skunkman and its a inbred line for sure. i have not hear very good thing about the smoke coming from it nor from the senso hindu kush, a good indica choice will be ortega from mr nice seeds or nordle aka afghanskunk.

Agreed the Afghan 1 grew way too sativa on me, I would also recomend Maple Leaf which I heard is related to Ortega?

This was the AF#1 I grew. Fantastic Yield. Smoke was good..

I grew Seedsman Afghani #1. It has sativa or thin looking leaves and kinda airy or loose buds.

Smoke was fairly potent and very indica in feeling. Relaxing or narcotic would be 2 ways to describe the high.

I had a problem with breathing after smoking it for some reason. Not real bad but enough that I do not smoke it now.

SAD from Sweet Seeds is mostly indica and left 10 weeks or 12 as I did, is very much relaxing or narcotic. I also use Maple Leaf Indica which is all indica.

As far as I can tell it goes like this:

The original Ortega was a Maple Leaf selection Nevil made from seeds via Jim Ortega(Dogless).

The Mr Nice Ortega is a selection Shantibaba made from Nevil's NL5 x NL1 leaning more to the NL1 side.
