UPDATE 2.40pm: THE VALUE of a hydroponic cannabis crop seized by Drug Squad officers and local police from a Bottle Creek property yesterday morning has been estimated at $3.5 million.

At the rural property, 60km west of Casino, police found and seized 130kg of cannabis leaf and head, 140 grams of hashish and 567 plants at varying levels of maturity.

The estimated combined value of these drugs is approximately $3.7 million.

Police also seized $47,000 in cash during the raid

A 57-year-old man charged in the raid was refused bail yesterday and appeared before Lismore Local Court earlier today.
