aridbud, you need to be the new AF mentor!

I am wondering about LSTing this AF I have going. Doesn't sound like a good idea to top it, huh? Tie the top to a stake and gradually pull the top down? It's about 5 nodes, maybe 6 inches high, growing like a weed!

It's been in the ground about 3 weeks. I don't want to stress it out, it's growing very well, but I wouldn't mind keeping it short

AF's you don't mess with, either cropping or pruning. Looks good to me for 3 weeks. They dramatically change when going through the flower stage. I've accidentally topped some, mishandling, moving containers indoors. Some are smaller or larger than others. Be happy with the growth going on.

Well, looks like I'm going to have to do a seed run soon. I don't want run out of AR beans!
I got to check out the two outdoor AR plants with a loup. Almost all cloudy. I think I'm going to chop Friday!

Sounds like a plan. I tend to really water heavily (water standing for cholrine to evaporate), then leach out. Too, I wait until soil is dry, then chop/chop. As with chile peppers, when you let them go without water before harvesting, they are hotter. Same premise for your lovely budded ladies.

I really like the rapidness of Short Ryder in maturity. Just alone, they were ready in 55-58 days. So, adding the 2 other elements of MG and BH, it makes for a fast maturing plant with a nice immediate UP buzz.

Appreciate your endorsement of Azure Rocket in it's growth/appearance, Rackdales. I'm hoping you'll be pleased once dried and ready for medication purposes. I've seeded/harvested these between 9800 ft down to 450 ft elevation, along areas where there's not much foot traffic in open areas, near creek beds, unattended. Too, I always have some in the grouping of flower containers like you see in Better Homes and Gardens...lol!So easy to camouflage or blend in with other greenery. The wooded area you mentioned...perfect!!! As long as it gets ample south sunlight...you are golden!

Aridbud, thank you for all the advice so far. I've flushed the girls and the soil is dry as of today. They shall enjoy their last day in full sun. I am certain Azure rocket is exactly what I need. The short stature combined the resiliency makes AZ a must for Gurilla style. I hope to see more growers sharing their thoughts on Afterthought Autos.
Could you help with posting images?
