Were all addicts
haha this site is a joke. they took the 12 step alcohol progam and made it for pot. other than the basics theres really no substance to the site though, no forums or anything. https://www.marijuana-anonymous.org/index.shtml |

more a routine than an addiction imo.... no more addicted than some guy is to his 10:00pm daily walk with his dog.

Yeah I got a ticket for driving while revoked. I forgot to pay a speeding ticket dmv revoked my license for not paying the ticket and since I'd recently moved I didn't know. So I get pulled over go to court my license get suspended for 30 days and I have another fine. After 30 days I go to dmv and they say not only is my license suspended for another 30 days because it didn't start until the day I paid my fine (which was the day I went to get my license back) but also dmv decided they want to make an example of me and I have to go to asap (alcohol safety action program) and driving school. Eventhough on my court document there's a box they check if the judge wants you to go to asap that was intentionally left blank. I haven't drank for 13 years when I was 20 and the only thing on my record is a posession of heroin ticket from 15 years ago (long since dealt with opiate problem) that I dealt with and paid my debt to society. Anyway I'm getting off topic. So I have to get my urine clean to go to asap. If I fail a urine test with them eventhough I have to go for a bullshit reason they could make things very hard for me. They even could send me to jail though I don't know how that works if I wasn't sent there by a judge. I have 3 lbs of top quality well cured organic outdoor swazi black, ghana gold, cinderella 99 and acapulco gold g13 that I grew last season. I have smoked everyday for 5 years and 4 days ago stopped with absolutely no problem. I've even packed bowls and rolled joints of my herb for my girlfriend my brother and various friends sold herb and haven't felt bad or odd in the slightest. I was worried my temper would be bad and I did get really upset with someone yesterday but definitely haven't felt like I needed help from anyone. I have been smoking cigarettes a bit more but otherwise haven't even thought about it. In fact I probably could use a break to get my tolerance back down, although the acapulco and ghana are so good that you can't build a tolerance to them. But its much much easier than I was expecting. Some of my friends do have trouble stopping though. Maybe its psychosomatic.

zama ...
i am only one person, but in my experience (and i have also seen this in friends) quitting marijuana for whatever length of time is the easiest thing in the world. a lot of people can get addicted to the lifestyle (work, go home, get stoned) but when you really need to, dropping the herb is no problem at all . no worries, buddy. |

greengrow is right, its definitely not the herb but the lifestyle
when all youre doing with your friends is getting high together, and you take a break, you stop hanging out with all youre good friends as often as you used to! and you find new ways to occupy your time |

The only addiction that is possibly associated with Marijuana is a mental addiction. But you can get mentally addicted to anything. I have a serious cereal addiction. I drive out to the store at all hours of the night/morning when I run out of honey bunches of oats to get a box.
I smoke when I have something to smoke. I don't feel "addiction" cravings when I don't have any. I miss it, but I miss my dogs back home too. I am however severely addicted to cigerettes. When I wake up in the morning I feel similiar to what I imagine waking up after being run over a truck would feel like until I have my first two cigerettes of the morning. I have to keep a pack next to my bed or I find it difficult to get up. I've never had a problem like that with weed. When I wake and bake its because I enjoy the taste of the cereal better when high, I enjoy the world more (and I enjoy it a lot to begin with). I enjoy being high, its a choice and not an addiction. |

i would have to agree. i think, for the welfare of america, the food, telivision, and internet addictions are far worse than pot. i know people who dont smoke pot or do any drugs, but you should see them eat. they act like the greased up double cheese burger is a hit of crack or something. they cant wait to come back for more. my dad wastes away watching tv, and i spend waaaay too much time on the internet.
