Smoke Report: Hey, IC! Just wanted to post this smoke report on my first run of this plant. Unfortunately, my initial go at this hybrid was far from dialed, but the buds still came out pretty good. I first started this report 4 days ago, a little over 3 weeks into cure, and have been smoking the Hz/Sk for as long, so I would go back and update this report with my newest opinions on this hybrid. I figured at first that a 3 week cure was good enough to try, but after the first taste, I knew I would need to smoke more than once to fully appreciate and document this girl. I've also found myself dipping into the jars more than I would like, so I'm going to lay off her a bit now and let her cure more, and will note any further changes in the future. Anyways, while alive, the plant has a grape and pine needle/menthol smell when matured, but, after 3 weeks in the jars, any fruity smell it once had has evaporated, but the "sweetness" is still there. Inhaling the aroma of the jars, the smell is light, almost cool on the nose, with a bit of "mintyness" mixing in, with the prominent smell being an earthy, herbal smell. Very nondescript, not unpleasant at all, just not pungent at all, either. After taking out a few buds for the test, on visual inspection and comparing how the bud looked before cure, they have taken on a light tan/khaki/golden hue to them. The bud is a bit light and fluffy, but definately denser than a purer haze or haze hybrid. What I enjoy most visually about her is her frost coverage, and her larger, spear-tip shaped calyxes. Chopping/grinding the buds are easy, she does however gum up the works a bit, especially with scissors (what I use), due to her resin content. And that leads us back to the smell. Breaking down the buds releases all the aromas, and basically, this bud has an all around sweet pine/mint/antiseptic smell. The earthy/herbal smell gets overpowered by the sweet pine-sol aromas, but overall, still a subtle, light scent. And again, no fruit smells. I've also noticed over time that a couple of buds have had an immature seed or two in it, hollow and grey/green. I'm chalking that up to enviromental stresses due to grower error, but even if that is genetic, still not a dealbreaker at all. She still qualifies as sensi. Rolling this bud is a breeze, as after the first twist, she easily and instantly binds together, and holds the joint shape like memory foam. Dry hitting her results in a mouthfull of sweet, piney goodness that lasts a second or two. Very nice. You can't help but dry hit her several times before ignition. After cherry, on the first real pull of the joint, she has a piney-floral & metallic flavor, a bit like how a pine air freshener, lilacs, and tin or aluminum foil would taste. The initial taste lingers on until exhale, and fades away with the aftertaste, which is an herbal, musky, sandalwood taste. It does not really coat the mouth, more along the lines of giving your tastebuds a splash, and then fading away in 20 - 30 seconds. I can't help but use light & subtle again in descriptive terms, but she is both along with complex, and to be honest, the smell translates pretty accurately to the taste. Now we get down to where this girl shines, and that would be the high. Not because of her strength, which is pretty strong; when the high kicks in, it's a great feeling, and can be a bit intense. Her ceiling seems pretty high, the more you smoke, the higher you get, but, it's also very easy to smoke yourself into a zoned-out, "staring contest with nothing" daze pretty easily, too. This isn't an unpleasant or anxiety ridden daze, more like the "have conversations with yourself while looking for your lost car keys for the last twenty minutes even though they've been in your right hand the whole time" kind of dazed. Foggy, muddy, and a bit confusing too, but, that's if you smoke yourself up to that. Moderately, she is scattered & hazy, but clearer and euphoric/happy. My cousin described the high as "swimming in her own brain". Where this bud really shines though, is the quality of the high. After taking your first couple of pulls, it takes a few minutes for the high to come on, but it starts off with a rush! The best way to describe the feeling would be what it feels like right at the very tip-top of the first drop of a rollercoaster... that tingling, exciting rush! Tingling sensations in your back, shoulders, head, sometimes in your arms, like goosebump tingling. Soon after that first rush is when the euphoria kicks in. Everything is right with the world, everyone loves each other type of euphoria... you genuinly feel great, an overall sense of well-being. Giggle weed, definately. And after the initial rush and euphoric/happy feel comes on, your mind opens up to many different thoughts all at once. It's hard to focus on one particular subject, I find myself constantly wandering in my head, same with my physical self. The comedown is smooth, and a bit short. Your not burned out, rather more just in a comfortable, pillowy state. You have cushions strapped to your head. Not tired, but relaxed (especially in your mind after that race), more so if you have been smoking less than more. The room odor after you smoke is incense, but when you leave the smokey room for a while and then return, you can really get a clear idea of the room odor, which is a very acrid, tangy, and heavy incense. There's also a little sweet earthyness to it, too. Think of what a church would smell like if they burned bitter orange peels and savory herbs (along with their other "churchy" incenses). Overall, I would rate this particular phenotype of this particular hybrid @ [7 - 8], with [8] being generous. The high really works for me and my body chemistry, but with that said, the tingling sensations and rush were felt by multiple people, but everyone seemed to describe it differently. Some said waves, others said twitches, and one even said it felt like "being lightly tickled with a feather". Point being, it seems to effect everyone a bit differently, and growing her, she threw several curveballs. VERY nutrient sensitive, to both amount & frequency, and she has more legs on her in veg. than flower. But, for a 90 day hazey, spacey, euphoric up/cerebral high with a unique (and beautiful) onset, I'm going to hold on to her, and plan to explore her a little more with some pollen-chucks and maybe some CS.

These pics were taken a day or two later, on a window sill in semi-direct sunlight, except the last picture, which is the best I can do in taking a close-up shot of the trichs.

Good stuff, I almost picked up a pack of this for 10 Euro (old stock on clearance at a local grow shop). I may have to go back and pick it up if they still have it.

Nice report! Makes me want to go through my old sativa seeds in the freezer. I've focused most of my life growing indicas but some day I'm going to get back to my Tai hybrids. Looks like you have some Tai influences in a pic of your bud structure. Could be wrong but looks real nice! Thanks for sharing!

95 days, not too shabby for a 50% haze.
