Early Durban vs Durban Poison x Sk#1 - The Flying Dutchmen - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

My question here relates to the Durban Poison x Skunk #1 by sam the skunkman. I received these beans from seedbay as a freebie, and just wanted to know if this strain is the same as Early Durban.

My understanding is that eddy from TDF and the skunkman have been working together for a many years. more recently sam released his own line of seeds. I am assuming that the parent plants for his DP x Sk#1 cross are the same as the parent plants of Early Durban which is essentially the same cross. The reason I believe they are the same is that DP and Sk#1 have not changed for many years and both sam and TDF would probably be working with the same clones.

Can anybody confirm this or have any more info? thanks.

Ezra, Sam and Eddie do have worked together massivly. Youre right, its probably all the same clone. I think the Cultivators Choice label belong to sam (maybe not) but sam + eddie was cultivators choice in the time. You know, maybe sam use his own selected clone that differ from TFD, but seriously iam sure they will be very very similar and surely just as good.

This is somethin' new for me: The Early Durban is a DurbanXSkunk!? It sounds very good! I got a pack of DbXSk (freebies) from Seedsman but no sprouted (so I already know why gratis seeds...)

I'm very interested in this genetic line cause I saw some seductive pics. (photo of the week on OG.com)

I think it will worth a try!

Its been said that high temps, 85-90 are needed for the Durban Poison x Skunk #1 to germ. I got one out of 5. Try scuffing the shell with a fine grit nail file before germing.

They're free because they're old...
Sam always says to ask TFD if he made the seeds, if he didn't who knows what clones they're using these days but a lot of the time i think sam actually makes the seeds and they just get TFD name.
