Odd Genetics Question
I crossed TGA's Agent Orange male with The Flav, Querkle and Jilly Bean, among others. All non-feminized beans.
These are simply a parental cross at this point. In the F2 generation, limitless genetic variables are possible, that's a given. However, if you're familiar with Subcool's use of Space Queen, which is Romulan x C99, you know it is included in almost every genetic line he produces - or so it feels that way. Given this, wouldn't a pseudo-F2 cross be occuring in the P1 cross if The Flav is Romulan x Space Queen (Romulan x C99) AND THAT is being crossed with, let's say Jilly Bean (Orange Skunk x Romulan x C99)? Or is it more of a back-cross situation? Or would it unleash every genetic combination possible of Romulan and C99 within the cross - and does that get represented as a 50/50 split of every genetic combo, or is it all out 100%, every possible combination? Confusing, I know... I hope this doesn't violate any territorial pissings, this is my genetic conundrum; simply seeking knowledge. Here's the lineage: Agent Orange (male): Orange Skunk x Jacks Cleaner x Space Queen Querkle: Purple Urkle x Space Queen Jilly Bean: Orange Skunk x Romulan x C99 The Flav: Romulan x Space Queen I'm finding out what happens the old fashioned way, just curious to hear some additional input about the science and genetic mechanics from the wise and savy. I lean towards this all being more of an art, but maybe some of the pure scientists can step forward and school the class.
