Learning the rules well,so as to break them effectively.

I'm day 28 into flowering a large seed making run.
I'm using a really nice Male B. A. T. F on 10 strains. While in veg I sprayed all with Eagle20 twice I also sulfar vaped twice. My question is... If I add eagle20 to the base of each plant 1day before I add pollen. Would that make these seeds/crosses, Highly PM resistant? |

Eagle 20 is some powerful stuff, but is not going to change the genetics of the seeds.
So NO!!! |

Ok. . Thanks for taking the time. .
Seemed a possibility due to Eagle20 being absorbed by the plants and staying in the works for 30 odd days. Would have thought the plants PM fighting tools might have carried over into the seed. Thanks again for the help. . Peace. . |

So I wonder. .. If applied at this point..
Eagle20 would hurt or take away from the seed development ? Not that this grow need another application .. |

no and you only need to spray once. twice is overkill and unnecessary.

a reason why it won't work is because a plants resistance to mold is genetic. you could be actually damaging chromosomes applying poisons. if youre interested in creating more mold resistant variety you would want to make seed with either an infected plant or with an infected plant in poximity to your seeded plant. you would still need to select mold resistant specimin from the resulting progeny. this means you gotta have mold around. it is the only way to see if a plant will resist a pathogen. growing a plant in a fully stressfree environment will not show you much except what a plant can do in a totally stressfree environment- which is usually pleasant for the end user. outdoor breeding under the stresses of natural sunlight, heat, insect pests and mold pests, wind...all these things make for shitty smoking buds but it activates the plants natural mechanisms for resisting these stressors. this will carry over in the progeny. in most cases-and in all that i have experienced- a plant that i select from my outdoor crops will do at least as well indoors. i have been making the bulk of my crosses outside for the last 5 years. the plants coming from those projects are very hardy.
