It has been officially recognized and on the streets. We have a year to get a little over 260,000 people to sign.

Best of luck but honestly I see no way of this passing even if somehow the petitioners did gather enough signatures.

Old folks tend to vote against cannabis more so than any other demographic and we know AZ is chock full of old folks.

Old folks will also be more inclined to associate cannabis use with mexicans as that's how it's use was framed back in the day and we all know old conservative white folks in AZ hate the mexicans.

That said, I have friends in AZ that I visit so I certainly hope somehow it passes.

By the time this goes to vote it we will have seen that legal weed did not destroy anything, or anyone. I think it will pass by a slim margin. Not a slim as your medical initiative though.

Damn we need this. I need this to pass! This time next year I won't be allowed to grow and that is nonsense since the dispensary where I'm at charges $55-$60 per eighth.....on average! Absolute nonsense. And the guy who actually owns the store is an arab or paki or something. Unbelievable....

If only older folks knew how it helps pain management cures cancer etc they would demand access to this medicine. All of us old stoners need to spread the word and push for legalization

I' m, hearing that the guy that got this ball rolling is way short of the funds something like this will take.
I haven't studied the bill but I do think that it will take a full on grass roots effort to get it done.
I plan on getting a copy of the petition and get some sigs.

The more signatures you gather the more funding the initiative drive will receive. It sucks, but that is the way it works.

I saw a sign in the door of the head shop above the Honey Man on S. Montezuma in Prescott. Apparently they have the petition there.
