i have the clone version of their OG in flower right now, i didnt get very tall because room was tight and it got overshadowed by their GSC. i have the seed packs also but i popped 5, then obtained the clone cutting a month or so later, so i just tossed the 5 seed sprouts. no reason to pheno hunt anymore. i dont think the one i have in flower is going to show much this time, but maybe itll catch up. might have to wait until the next round to see what she can do.

sorry cant offer any additional info on it, just know its tahoe og pollinated with their og male they've been using on all their crosses.

Thanks for the info!...Any pics of yours would be great! Just put 3 in rooters and im expecting the best.Ive been doing basicly nothing but B.O.G for a LONG time and its going to be great to finally get the notorious "Tahoe OG",i know its seed form but so was that cut at one time. Come on peeps...Lets talk OG instead of all this cookie talk!

i yanked it from flower, it was being overshadowed, even my clone cuttings of this seem to be sluggish. not sure why. is that typical of OG to be a slower vegger?
anyway, i have a new clone rooted and hoping maybe itll pick up vigor and if it does ill give it a shot. ive never ran an OG before so i dont know what to expect, but i know chemdawg/og has had a lot of hype for years now, so it must be for a reason.

Yes it is slow in veg. That's the problem with poly-hybrids. They do not have any hybrid vigor that you would get from crossing 2 true inbred breeding strains. The upside is it is above average potency and some cuts will finish in 55 days. If you want plants that grow extremely vigorous, choose hybrids that come from crosses of 2 stabilized inbred lines. This is the only way to achieve true F1 hybrid vigor. With all the wanna be breeders chucking pollen these days you may be a while.

you think og is worth running side by side to some prize winning strains? im running the blue dream (clone only), kens gdp (clone only), kens kush (seed pheno, smells like gdp with a touch of pine, great yield), and phantom cookies (smells like gdp, hawaiian punch, candy, etc etc, heavy yield, dense buds. some of the best weed ive ever grown as far as total package having every good feature possible).. i ran one og back in the day that was so small i couldnt even get a solid feel if it was quality or not.

if so what makes the OG a stand out strain to back up your feelings on her?

i believe the kens OG is a female tahoe OG was taken.. and they hit her with their male OG (i think i read their male og is a skywalker og)

I've thought long and hard over this. I heard someone mention that its genetics plays well with others? Even though I hear it doesn't clone the best. I've heard haters call it skunk 1 or indica skunk from overgrow.org? There may be some truth to this. There is also The Chemdawg legend surrounding Col and Mont. Then there is the legend of something called trinity escaping the southeast Appalachia region to end up in Col/Mont. Either way I think it comes down to the smell which ranges from cat piss to gasoline to skunk to roasted garlic. Its aroma lights up the air and puts everyones nose up like " where is that coming from " The high is reminiscent of an equatorial like Jamaican satys or skunks to Durban or Malawis. As far as the indica ness I think comes out around day 75-80 how I like em overdone.
