This Thread is a work in progress and will be heavily edited till I get it right.
( May take some time to get done ) Each edit will be known... This is not a grow thread... This is simply to place background information-- For myself & others that want to know-- Once the background is in place (It will fade into the archives and be a reference) As I have decided to share & ask for help ( Testing ) some crosses that I have made over the past 2 years... I need a place for people to come and get the background information on what I'm asking to be tested. That is not lost in one of my main threads. Lets all be on the same page here. I am not a breeder. I do not know if these crosses are stable or anything but what you can see for yourselves in my threads. I know that " I " believe in the sources/Breeders that these clones & seeds used to cross, came from. I know that no one has pointed out any reason these would not be healthy wonderful seeds to either work with or just grow some great buds with. I know I can not achieve my goals by myself and my personal 5 year plan depends on others wanting to help me rather than bring me down... lol I AM very luck and am in the right place at the right time working with the right breeders.( working meaning,buying from ) I do desire to breed a line of my own, starting in 3 years... For this i need a gene pool to work with and a lot of beans to pop and select parents from. I also need experience, skills and knowledge i do not possess at this point. Though im gaining more every day and i am on track and meeting goals. Im in year 2 of a 5 year plan . SO... What am i doing and what am i offering ? I am taking Solid genetics and crossing them with solid genetics. By solid, I mean ( They are what their name say they are ) The mom SSH was a clone. I grew out 30+ cuts and though I sucked as a grower ( 1st year ) She was a beautiful mom... My issues were with soil and mites and neither would be expressed in her beans.( no hermi-no PM ) The pop was from a gifted set of seeds given to by a well known long time local breeder that knows his chit and has a solid reputation. I do not know him personally, he does not know me beyond recognizing me when i go to his shop. lol 4 seeds given - 2 seeds popped - 1 male -1 I killed cause I suck. He told me if a male popped I need to use him (special) When I told him I had one, he gave me the genetic info and got me started on the idea of a 5 year plan.. The male was placed in a closet all by its self. I then added the original SSH clone from the shop. Different shop/breeder( the label had genetic info ) Its SSH cloned from seed from one of the major seed makers on the bay. I dont recall off hand who, but its in my YEPS thread and I will find it for ya. Everything about everything to do with these crosses has been way over documented the last 2 years and can be cross referenced and bla bla bla ... lol Got nothing to hide and stand behind the things im doing ( keeping in mind i get over medicated at times and if you see a inconsistency, please point it out ) I have managed to get solid background info on all these strains except the 80 Sativa, which were Bag seed from the 80s that are obvious heavy Sativa(hence the name i gave it) There was a male 80 sativa that popped yet being unknown i cut and didn't want to use. The male BATF {Being used now} is known and my 1st wave this year was to prove the strains for this seed making run. Ok... So what im going to post here is.... A few (links as a time line) to my 1st thread on ICMAG so as to make it easy for people that want to know what there looking at... Since there are only 4 crosses from one father being offered as tester. I will stick to these and provide (over the next few post) Time line pictures and info on each of the 5 plants. Why do all this ? Why climb a mountain ? Cause I can...  I am going to achieve my goals... Its just who I am... Its what I do.. Most the time I do it on my own and the hard way... Im getting to OLD for that...  I need YOUR help.... If nothing more than just point out mistakes made. Things that do add up or make sence. Teach a thing or two if ya like. I mean... If im not off my rocker here... Seems to me These are good beans to be playing with and I am in a good place to provide them to everyone that needs good beans. Why not help make sure I provide A+++ quality.. Haters will hate and im not worried about that. Though im not inviting it either... lol I dont know if ya notice but... Im not worried about the money side of this... I know that if I follow my dream and stick to my path the cost will take care of its self... Karma, bebe...  Last but not least before we get this PARTY started... Who knows what next year brings and I make no promises that this will Evolve into a career/business that would allow me to continue for any given time. This could be a one hit wonder or epic failure... Only time will tell and I promise you that I will do my best... I know.... I have the time and the desire to do this right now, so I will just take a step and see what happens.... Wheeeeee..... I thank you for taking the time... Peace....

The original Super Silver Haze....
Keep in mind it was a first time grow and with CFL's.. Ta me.... If mom could get that tall and big under CFLs and in poor soil... She would have been a monster when given a good environment... So here is mom... Last edited by DamnUglyDogE; 06-17-2013 at 03:22 AM.. |

A glimpse at Border Haze ( Outdoor Shade Grow )
Here is the thread started once I brought her Inside to try and save some of her from the bugs...
