DRB's Multi Strain Tent
So Im back after my last grow turned to crap. Lets hope I have better luck this time. So...
Strains: One of each of the following: Green Love Potion - SamSara Big Bang - GreenHouse Critical Sensi Star - Delicious White Widow x Big Bud - Female The Doctor - GreenHouse (all feminised) Bagseed - from some decent bud Light: 400w HPS with Cooltube Reflector Upgraded to 1000w HPS with Air Cooled Reflector mid August 2013 Tent: .5m x .9m x 1.6m Upgraded to 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent mid August 2013 Medium: Canna Terra Pro Nutes: Canna Terra Vega Canna Terra Flores Temps: 17C-26C. Usually between 20C-25C Since Im running a few different strains, I will be using a combination of LST and topping where necessary to keep them as even as possible. I dont have a lot of square footage, and with the 400w I dont get the best penetration, so I wont be veging for too long in order keep them quite short. I started to germinate the CSS, GLP, WWxBB and The Doctor 48 hours ago. They were just an now planted into their little seedling pots. They all had a fairly long tap root except the BBxWW, so I would say they mostly popped within 24 hours. Ill get pics up of these in a week or so. Once things get at least somewhat interesting anyways. Bagseed: Not exactly sure how old it is, but I'd say at least a month, at most a month and a half. Been on 12/12 for a week and a bit, and showed her sex a few days ago. She hasnt been growing at a breakneck speed, but not exactly crawling either. She was topped a few days before the flip, and seems to have responded well. Ive decided to concentrate on 6 tops. All in all, its fairly healty, sturdy and progressing well. ![]() ![]() The Big Bang Not exactly sure of this ones age either, but I'd guess around 2 1/2 weeks...maybe more. This one has been a slow grower indeed. But I'll put this down to my error. Started her off in a pot that was much too large, and it subsequently took a long time to dry out between waterings. So yea, not ideal, but she should take off sooner or later. Already starting to pick up. Its got very fat/squat leaves. ![]() Anyways, that'll do for now. Im looking forward to this, should be an interesting grow. |

Quick Update:
![]() The Bagseed is just beginning to throw out some proper hairage. Its smelling pretty good too...sort of a pungent fruityness. Better than the last bagseed I grew which was more of a perfumey minty type smell/taste. ![]() The Big Bang is still not much to look at, but starting to pick up the pace. ![]() The GLP, CSS and The Doctor have all popped through the soil and are spreading their wings. WWxBB is a little behind. I wonder how long that'll last? The WWxBB had by far the shortest tap root after 48 hours, and now its the only one not to have shown it head. It'll come good, but even if it continues and ends up a runt, Im wont be too fussed. The Big Bud genetics are the least exciting out of all the seeds I have. And I plan on doing another seed order sometime soon so I doubt I'll ever get to them after this grow to be honest. |

Looks good so far mate.
That bagseed plant is looking rather vigorous. It should be growing at a pretty rapid pace at this point. Can't wait to see your doctor and white widows! I'm very interested in seeing how they go. Best of luck to ya bud

Yup, the bagseed is starting to take off. Can really see it getting bigger each and every day. And I also cant wait. They are the first proper genetics I have grown so its rather exciting. |

BTW, this is going to be a fairly picture heavy thready. Sorry In advance if thats not your thing. But, you know what they say...a picture is worth a thousand words.
The Big Bang Coming along alright considering. You can see on the leaf on the right a bit of curling down. I think this might be because of the large pot. It takes quite a few days for it to dry out. ![]() The Bagseed ![]() ![]() ![]() The Rest ![]() BTW, dont laugh at my cardboard seedling pots. Im a cheapskate, and they work wonders. The corrugated cardboard seems to let more air get to the roots so they can breath. |

Update:
![]() The Bagseed All good here. Not a lot to report. No news is good news, I guess. ![]() ![]() The Big Bang Starting to pick up the pace now. Its staying very stocky...the distance between nodes is no more than a centimeter. Is this too short? Should I move it a lil further from the light to encourage a lil more stretch? This is the most indica dom strain Ive personally grown. Leaves are fat as anything. Going to hit it with a fair dose of nutes later before lights off. ![]() ![]() The Rest All moving along as they should. No pic...tis unneeded. Enjoy! |

The big bang has some really tight looking nodes! That's actually a very good thing. Even though you're growing it under a HPS and not a MH. Keep it that way, nice short and stout until flowering is the way to go.

Hey man just saw this now!
That big bang sure has fat leaves, I'm looking for something like that for my next strain. Hopefully it grows into a little indica tank for you ![]() I'll be watching ![]() EDIT: That bagseed looks huge, how tall is that thing? |
