Shouldn't be hard to find some full melt. Hit up the shop called Melting Point. It is bubbleman's(as in bubble man the bubble bag inventor) gallery and they have some fine products there. Some great pipes bongs and vapes. They are never too shy about allowing customers to sample some product. As for a tourist trying to find some smoke The New Amsterdam Cafe, is a great pot friendly cafe, also with a huge selection of pipes bongs, clothing, etc. This is also under the name Blunt Bros. The BC marijuana party book store is right beside Blunt Bros, also worth a check out. They have a great Vape lounge, and for a small fee you can try out basically any vaporizer on the market and have a nice relaxed rest while inhaling the sweet sweet vape. Seeds would be easy to find aswell. In the same area as Blunt Bros, there are several seed vendors, as well as other parts of the city. Also if you are looking for pot friendly accomidations check out Sativa Sisters B&B.

i beleive things have changed a bit since you've ast been stoned skier.

i'm pretty sure bubblemans melting point has since closed.
blunt bros and the building it was in burned down. there were plans to build a place across the street, but i'm not sure if it's completed or not.

but hopefully someone living in Vancouver will update us both on the the vanscoop.

Blunt Bros is very much open and is operating in the New Amsterdam Cafe. I was just there a month ago. I have not heard anything about melting point closing down, their website is still running.

I was there in Jan05 and it was the best time I ever had. I went up to the "buzz" /then to the new Amsterdam Cafe to procede to puff down the whole 4 grams..I was so stoned I nearly passed out right there in the cafe. And comercial drive it cool out by the melting point as well. I am going to drive north to Vancouver in a few days. Im going for 3 days, I hope its the same as when I went last time in Jan 05.

Go to the Camby club around the corner from the New Amsterdam to get your smoke... great stuff... otherwise you have to deal with these hoodlum, wannabe gansters upstairs above the New Amsterdam...

check out the BC Marijuana party headquarters too, next door to the New Amsterdam (when i was there it was still seeds direct... ) and if Marc's around he'll surely smoke you a bowl...

canada day is july 1

I have had no problems finding weed in Vancouver.

I did the Camby thing a couple of years ago and got some decent white widow.

If you are in Canada on july 1, which is Canada day, you are in for a treat. On the steps of the downtown art gallery, the locals gather to celebrate "Cannabis day". Weed abounds.

The Robson street steps at the art gallery are also another place to potentially score. It really is a better place to smoke than score. The police seem to allow smoking (and drinking) there.
