When i was younger it seemed there was not as many terms used as there are now, we knew the different kinds by (1)commercial loaded with seeds & stems but not compacted like it is now, then we had (2)green or good green still had seeds but better quality and color not as many seeds, then we had (3)Pre-Mo mostly known as Sinse or sinsamillia or skunk no seeds or couple at the most and an ounce sometimes was hard to fit in a bag and if a buddy had it you knew caue you could smell it, its what every one here shoots for any way now.

Fast forward 15 or so years and you got nugs, beasters this is the one i don't get what the hell is a beaster ? can some one answer that ? wish i knew who put that name out there this should be the title of the thread maybe,?

all my friends use older slang from the past weed ,smoke,burn one , and speaking of that . lets

feel free to chime in on names and terms you like , dislike, names you wish every one used or terms that changed sense you got old ? hehe

Beaster usually means herb that looks pretty decent and has a pretty good smell (most beasters I've encountered smell like hay) but the smoke / taste and the high is shitty.

Had some nice kush last week and could only find beasters this week, the high from the kush was amazing, one bowl would be a super nice high for ~4 hours, got a tiny bit of the beasters and even after 3 or 4 bong bowls I still didn't have the high I got from that kush. Hopefully I can find something other than beasters. (not to mention it made my bong smell like cat piss ew.... I hate a dirty tube)

I'm in my 20's, common terms for herb that I hear are - dank, headies, nugget.

I think calling stuff "dank" is kinda stupid because it actually means "wet or moist" wouldn't you want your "dank" to be properly cured and not wet or moist? especially if you're buying it and not growing.... hehehe... Although dank is a pretty cool word and in some stoner circles it's used to describe more than just herb.

Where the hell did the word schwag come from aka the brown frown? lol...

lol. good post. i remember when i was in high school back in the late 80's my friends and i used to smoke with this old hippy dude who used to ask us "you guys wanna go smoke the rope?" all these terms now are just like everything else nowadays, "marketing slang". a bunch of bs. its either shit, good or fucking awesome. those are my 3 descriptions.

that hog leg i never heard before, thats funny . gonna go smoke some rope . i like that one, thats old really old , i had a relative that used to grow hemp to make rope for one of those world wars, that has to be where that phrase came from ! thanks for postin , its always cool to hear what people from different times and places refer hehe to shit as.

one of my buddies calls a blunt roach "a duck" i guess cause it kinda resembles a duck bill in a way

ya i don't like that word dope either, when i hear it the first thing that comes to mind is heroin, to me it just gives off a bad vibe

forgot to add my favorite terms:

pull / pulling tube(s) = bong rips

session / sesh = smoke session

i'm sure session has been around for a while, welp i'm off to pull a tube, peace and love.
