Mendo, Humboldt, and Trinity counties--what a place; big backcountry and lots of outdoor growing. I live just south of the Emerald Triangle and have been scheming on a move up north for quite some time. I’m looking for somewhere remote, however not too inaccessible. I have a vague idea of where I want to go but I would like to hear others’ experiences, especially those who live here. I’ve mainly concentrated my search in Mendo; mostly areas other than Ukiah, like Willits, Boonville, Laytonville, Covelo, etc.

Live in the Emerald Triangle? What’s the scene like in your town/community?
