water cure will make the smoke smoother but the potency will be the same. it's impossible to increase potency in a bud...potency is in the genetics of the plant.
but if you dip them in some bho...

I've read several threads on wc,
and ppl say it removes the nasties,
and increases potency by concentrating
the thc...or something to that effect.I
just haven't seen it done on dry bud.

The increase in potentcy in a water cure is not an actual increase in the Potentcy of the THC, but an increase in the concentration of THC.

Water curing removes more nasties from the bud than an air cure, leaving a higher bud to trich ratio, meaning more bang per hit.

The only reason I would water cure dried bud is if it was poorly flushed or poorly cured, resulting in a harsh, chemmy smoke. The increase in potentcy is not exponential, or even terribly noticable, so if that's the reason behind water curing, you'll be disappointed.

Absofukinloutly I have used a water cure quite a few times on lackluster dried bud and it definately both shrinks (increasing potency) and smooths the weed. a dehydrator also comes in handy for drying sopping wet buds. I wouldn't use it for anything good but its a lifesaving technique for beat weed or dud plants (had a couple of those in the past)
